Materials Data on Ba2ZnAg by Materials Project
Ba2AgZn crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Ba2AgZn ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Ba is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ag and one Zn atom. The Ba–Ag bond length is 3.30 Å. The Ba–Zn bond length is 3.52 Å. Ag is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ba atoms. Zn is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ba atoms.
