Materials Data on Ba2TlPd by Materials Project
Ba2PdTl crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Ba2PdTl ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Ba is bonded in a linear geometry to one Pd and one Tl atom. The Ba–Pd bond length is 2.83 Å. The Ba–Tl bond length is 3.65 Å. Pd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ba atoms. Tl is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ba atoms.
