Materials Data on Ba2TlPb by Materials Project
Ba2TlPb crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Ba2TlPb ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Ba is bonded in a linear geometry to one Tl and one Pb atom. The Ba–Tl bond length is 3.23 Å. The Ba–Pb bond length is 3.12 Å. Tl is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ba atoms. Pb is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ba atoms.
