Materials Data on Ba2TlAu by Materials Project
Ba2AuTl crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Ba2AuTl ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Ba is bonded in a linear geometry to one Au and one Tl atom. The Ba–Au bond length is 3.09 Å. The Ba–Tl bond length is 3.35 Å. Au is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ba atoms. Tl is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ba atoms.
