Materials Data on BaLi2Tl by Materials Project
Li2BaTl crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Li2BaTl ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Li is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ba and one Tl atom. The Li–Ba bond length is 3.82 Å. The Li–Tl bond length is 2.89 Å. Ba is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Li atoms. Tl is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Li atoms.
