Materials Data on Ba2HgPd by Materials Project
Ba2PdHg crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Ba2PdHg ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Ba is bonded in a linear geometry to one Pd and one Hg atom. The Ba–Pd bond length is 2.84 Å. The Ba–Hg bond length is 3.49 Å. Pd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ba atoms. Hg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ba atoms.
