Materials Data on Ba2NaCd by Materials Project
NaBa2Cd crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two NaBa2Cd ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Na is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ba atoms. Both Na–Ba bond lengths are 3.91 Å. Ba is bonded in a linear geometry to one Na and one Cd atom. The Ba–Cd bond length is 3.49 Å. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ba atoms.
