Materials Data on Zn4B6O13 by Materials Project

Zn4B6O13 crystallizes in the cubic I-43m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Zn2+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form distorted ZnO4 trigonal pyramids that share corners with six equivalent BO4 tetrahedra and corners with three equivalent ZnO4 trigonal pyramids. There are three shorter (1.99 Å) and one longer (2.01 Å) Zn–O bond lengths. B3+ is bonded to four equivalent O2- atoms to form BO4 tetrahedra that share corners with four equivalent BO4 tetrahedra and corners with four equivalent ZnO4 trigonal pyramids. All B–O bond lengths are 1.48 Å. There are two inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a tetrahedral geometry to four equivalent Zn2+ atoms. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted trigonal planar geometry to one Zn2+ and two equivalent B3+ atoms.

Zn3(BO3)2 crystallizes in the monoclinic C2/c space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are three inequivalent Zn2+ sites. In the first Zn2+ site, Zn2+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form corner-sharing ZnO4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of Zn–O bond distances ranging from 1.94–2.03 Å. In the second Zn2+ site, Zn2+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form a mixture of edge and corner-sharing ZnO4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of Zn–O bond distances ranging from 1.96–2.04 Å. In the third Zn2+ site, Zn2+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form corner-sharing ZnO4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of Zn–O bond distances ranging from 1.96–2.01 Å. There are two inequivalent B3+ sites. In the first B3+ site, B3+ is bonded in a trigonal planar geometry to three O2- atoms. There is one shorter (1.38 Å) and two longer (1.39 Å) B–O bond length. In the second B3+ site, B3+ is bonded in a trigonal planar geometry to three O2- atoms. All B–O bond lengths are 1.39 Å. There are six inequivalent O2- sites. Materials Data on ZnB4O7 by Materials Project

ZnB4O7 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Cmcm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Zn2+ is bonded to five O2- atoms to form distorted ZnO5 trigonal bipyramids that share corners with ten BO4 tetrahedra. There are one shorter (2.05 Å) and four longer (2.07 Å) Zn–O bond lengths. There are two inequivalent B3+ sites. In the first B3+ site, B3+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form BO4 tetrahedra that share corners with six BO4 tetrahedra and corners with two equivalent ZnO5 trigonal bipyramids. There is two shorter (1.45 Å) and two longer (1.56 Å) B–O bond length. In the second B3+ site, B3+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form BO4 tetrahedra that share corners with five BO4 tetrahedra and corners with three equivalent ZnO5 trigonal bipyramids. There are a spread of B–O bond distances ranging from 1.44–1.57 Å. There are three inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a trigonal planar geometry to one Zn2+ and two equivalent B3+ atoms. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted trigonal planar geometry to one Zn2+ and two B3+ atoms. In the third O2- site, O2- is bonded in a trigonal planar geometry to three B3+ atoms.

Materials Data on ZnBO3 by Materials Project

ZnBO3 is (Cubic) Perovskite structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Zn is bonded to twelve equivalent O atoms to form ZnO12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent ZnO12 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent ZnO12 cuboctahedra, and faces with eight equivalent BO6 octahedra. All Zn–O bond lengths are 2.39 Å. B is bonded to six equivalent O atoms to form BO6 octahedra that share corners with six equivalent BO6 octahedra and faces with eight equivalent ZnO12 cuboctahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 0°. All B–O bond lengths are 1.69 Å. O is bonded in a distorted linear geometry to four equivalent Zn and two equivalent B atoms.
