Materials Data on MgB2P2H8O13 by Materials Project

MgB2P2(HO2)6H2O crystallizes in the monoclinic P2_1/c space group. The structure is three-dimensional and consists of four water molecules and one MgB2P2(HO2)6 framework. In the MgB2P2(HO2)6 framework, Mg2+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form MgO6 octahedra that share corners with two BO4 tetrahedra and corners with two PO4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of Mg–O bond distances ranging from 2.06–2.21 Å. There are two inequivalent B3+ sites. In the first B3+ site, B3+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form BO4 tetrahedra that share a cornercorner with one MgO6 octahedra and corners with three PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 52°. There are a spread of B–O bond distances ranging from 1.46–1.50 Å. In the second B3+ site, B3+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form BO4 tetrahedra that share a cornercorner with one MgO6 octahedra and corners with three PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 49°. There are a spread of B–O bond distances ranging from 1.45–1.50 Å. There are two inequivalent P5+ sites. In the first P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share a cornercorner with one MgO6 octahedra and corners with three BO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 58°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.52–1.56 Å. In the second P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share a cornercorner with one MgO6 octahedra and corners with three BO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 55°. There is one shorter (1.52 Å) and three longer (1.56 Å) P–O bond length. There are six inequivalent H1+ sites. In the first H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one O2- atom. The H–O bond length is 0.99 Å. In the second H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one O2- atom. The H–O bond length is 0.99 Å. In the third H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one O2- atom. The H–O bond length is 0.99 Å. In the fourth H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one O2- atom. The H–O bond length is 0.98 Å. In the fifth H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one O2- atom. The H–O bond length is 0.98 Å. In the sixth H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to two O2- atoms. There is one shorter (1.01 Å) and one longer (1.71 Å) H–O bond length. There are twelve inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted trigonal planar geometry to one Mg2+, one P5+, and one H1+ atom. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted bent 120 degrees geometry to one B3+ and one P5+ atom. In the third O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 120 degrees geometry to one Mg2+ and one P5+ atom. In the fourth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 120 degrees geometry to one B3+ and one P5+ atom. In the fifth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 120 degrees geometry to one B3+ and one P5+ atom. In the sixth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted bent 120 degrees geometry to one B3+ and one P5+ atom. In the seventh O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 120 degrees geometry to one B3+ and one P5+ atom. In the eighth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 120 degrees geometry to one B3+ and one P5+ atom. In the ninth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted trigonal planar geometry to one Mg2+, one B3+, and one H1+ atom. In the tenth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted trigonal planar geometry to one Mg2+, one B3+, and one H1+ atom. In the eleventh O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted trigonal planar geometry to one Mg2+ and two H1+ atoms. In the twelfth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted water-like geometry to one Mg2+ and two H1+ atoms.

Materials Data on Mg2BP3(H3O7)2 by Materials Project

Mg2BP3(H3O7)2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic P2_12_12_1 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent Mg2+ sites. In the first Mg2+ site, Mg2+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form MgO6 octahedra that share corners with five PO4 tetrahedra and edges with two equivalent MgO6 octahedra. There are a spread of Mg–O bond distances ranging from 2.09–2.22 Å. In the second Mg2+ site, Mg2+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form MgO6 octahedra that share a cornercorner with one BO4 tetrahedra, corners with five PO4 tetrahedra, and edges with two equivalent MgO6 octahedra. There are a spread of Mg–O bond distances ranging from 2.08–2.16 Å. B3+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form BO4 tetrahedra that share a cornercorner with one MgO6 octahedra and corners with three PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 61°. There are a spread of B–O bond distances ranging from 1.45–1.49 Å. There are three inequivalent P5+ sites. In the first P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with four MgO6 octahedra and a cornercorner with one BO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 49–55°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.53–1.59 Å. In the second P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with two MgO6 octahedra and a cornercorner with one BO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 46–50°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.52–1.58 Å. In the third P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with four MgO6 octahedra and a cornercorner with one BO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 33–53°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.53–1.59 Å. There are six inequivalent H1+ sites. In the first H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one O2- atom. The H–O bond length is 0.98 Å. In the second H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two O2- atoms. There is one shorter (1.05 Å) and one longer (1.46 Å) H–O bond length. In the third H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one O2- atom. The H–O bond length is 0.98 Å. In the fourth H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one O2- atom. The H–O bond length is 0.98 Å. In the fifth H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one O2- atom. The H–O bond length is 1.00 Å. In the sixth H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to two O2- atoms. There is one shorter (1.01 Å) and one longer (1.71 Å) H–O bond length. There are fourteen inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a water-like geometry to one P5+ and one H1+ atom. In the twelfth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted trigonal planar geometry to one Mg2+ and two H1+ atoms. In the thirteenth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to one B3+ and one P5+ atom. In the fourteenth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted bent 120 degrees geometry to one B3+ and one P5+ atom.

Mg3B2P2(H9O10)2 crystallizes in the triclinic P-1 space group. The structure is two-dimensional and consists of one Mg3B2P2(H9O10)2 sheet oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. there are two inequivalent Mg2+ sites. In the first Mg2+ site, Mg2+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form MgO6 octahedra that share corners with two equivalent BO4 tetrahedra and corners with two equivalent PO4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of Mg–O bond distances ranging from 2.05–2.26 Å. In the second Mg2+ site, Mg2+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form MgO6 octahedra that share corners with two equivalent BO4 tetrahedra and corners with two equivalent PO4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of Mg–O bond distances ranging from 2.07–2.15 Å. B3+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form BO4 tetrahedra that share corners with three MgO6 octahedra and a cornercorner with one PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 43–53°. There are a spread of B–O bond distances ranging from 1.46–1.51 Å. P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with three MgO6 octahedra and a cornercorner with one BO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 46–56°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.53–1.58 Å. There are nine inequivalent H1+ sites. In the first H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one O2- atom. The H–O bond length is 0.99 Å. In the second H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one O2- atom. MgBP(H3O4)2 crystallizes in the trigonal R-3c space group. The structure is three-dimensional and consists of two MgBP(H3O4)2 frameworks. Mg2+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form MgO6 octahedra that share corners with two equivalent BO4 tetrahedra and corners with two equivalent PO4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of Mg–O bond distances ranging from 2.06–2.15 Å. B3+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form BO4 tetrahedra that share corners with two equivalent MgO6 octahedra and corners with two equivalent PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 43°. There is two shorter (1.47 Å) and two longer (1.51 Å) B–O bond length. P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with two equivalent MgO6 octahedra and corners with two equivalent BO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 45°. There is two shorter (1.53 Å) and two longer (1.57 Å) P–O bond length. There are three inequivalent H1+ sites. In the first H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a distorted single-bond geometry to one O2- atom. The H–O bond length is 1.01 Å. In the second H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one O2- atom. The H–O bond length is 1.00 Å. In the third H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one O2- atom.
