Materials Data on Zr2IrAu by Materials Project
Zr2IrAu crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Zr2IrAu ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Zr is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ir and one Au atom. The Zr–Ir bond length is 2.33 Å. The Zr–Au bond length is 2.82 Å. Ir is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Zr atoms. Au is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Zr atoms.
