Materials Data on HfTlAu2 by Materials Project
HfAu2Tl crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two HfAu2Tl ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Hf is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Au atoms. Both Hf–Au bond lengths are 2.64 Å. Au is bonded in a linear geometry to one Hf and one Tl atom. The Au–Tl bond length is 2.91 Å. Tl is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Au atoms.
