Materials Data on YGaAu2 by Materials Project

YAu2Ga is Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Y is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Au atoms. All Y–Au bond lengths are 2.98 Å. Au is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Y and four equivalent Ga atoms. All Au–Ga bond lengths are 2.98 Å. Ga is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Au atoms.

Materials Data on Y2GaAu by Materials Project

Y2AuGa crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Y2AuGa ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Y is bonded in a linear geometry to one Au and one Ga atom. The Y–Au bond length is 2.90 Å. The Y–Ga bond length is 2.84 Å. Au is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Y atoms. Ga is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Y atoms.

Materials Data on YGaAu by Materials Project

YAuGa crystallizes in the monoclinic C2/m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Y is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Au and six equivalent Ga atoms. There are a spread of Y–Au bond distances ranging from 3.08–3.25 Å. There are a spread of Y–Ga bond distances ranging from 3.12–3.30 Å. Au is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Y, one Au, and three equivalent Ga atoms. The Au–Au bond length is 2.86 Å. There are two shorter (2.60 Å) and one longer (2.93 Å) Au–Ga bond lengths. Ga is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Y, three equivalent Au, and one Ga atom. The Ga–Ga bond length is 2.57 Å.
