Materials Data on DySnAu by Materials Project

DyAuSn crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3mc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Dy is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Au and six equivalent Sn atoms. There are three shorter (3.01 Å) and three longer (3.66 Å) Dy–Au bond lengths. There are three shorter (3.20 Å) and three longer (3.40 Å) Dy–Sn bond lengths. Au is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Dy and four equivalent Sn atoms. There are three shorter (2.82 Å) and one longer (2.97 Å) Au–Sn bond lengths. Sn is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Dy and four equivalent Au atoms.

Materials Data on DySnAu2 by Materials Project

DyAu2Sn is Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Dy is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Au atoms. All Dy–Au bond lengths are 3.05 Å. Au is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Dy and four equivalent Sn atoms. All Au–Sn bond lengths are 3.05 Å. Sn is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Au atoms.

Materials Data on Dy2SnAu2 by Materials Project

Dy2Au2Sn crystallizes in the tetragonal P4_2/mnm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent Dy sites. In the first Dy site, Dy is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Au and four equivalent Sn atoms. There are two shorter (2.94 Å) and four longer (3.10 Å) Dy–Au bond lengths. All Dy–Sn bond lengths are 3.54 Å. In the second Dy site, Dy is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Au and four equivalent Sn atoms. There are two shorter (2.98 Å) and four longer (3.02 Å) Dy–Au bond lengths. All Dy–Sn bond lengths are 3.46 Å. Au is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to six Dy and two equivalent Sn atoms. Both Au–Sn bond lengths are 3.12 Å. Sn is bonded to eight Dy and four equivalent Au atoms to form a mixture of distorted corner and face-sharing SnDy8Au4 cuboctahedra.

Materials Data on Dy2SnAu2 by Materials Project

Dy2Au2Sn crystallizes in the tetragonal P4_2/mnm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Dy is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to six Au and two equivalent Sn atoms. There are a spread of Dy–Au bond distances ranging from 3.03–3.06 Å. Both Dy–Sn bond lengths are 3.12 Å. There are two inequivalent Au sites. In the first Au site, Au is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Dy atoms. In the second Au site, Au is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Dy atoms. Sn is bonded in a rectangular see-saw-like geometry to four equivalent Dy atoms.

Materials Data on DySnAu by Materials Project

DyAuSn is hexagonal omega structure-derived structured and crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3/mmc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Dy is bonded to six equivalent Au and six equivalent Sn atoms to form a mixture of edge and face-sharing DySn6Au6 cuboctahedra. All Dy–Au bond lengths are 3.30 Å. All Dy–Sn bond lengths are 3.30 Å. Au is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Dy and three equivalent Sn atoms. All Au–Sn bond lengths are 2.73 Å. Sn is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Dy and three equivalent Au atoms.
