Materials Data on Be2PtAu by Materials Project
Be2PtAu crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Be2PtAu ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Be is bonded in a linear geometry to one Pt and one Au atom. The Be–Pt bond length is 2.06 Å. The Be–Au bond length is 2.20 Å. Pt is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Be atoms. Au is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Be atoms.
