Materials Data on AlVCr2 by Materials Project
VCr2Al crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two VCr2Al ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. V is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Cr atoms. Both V–Cr bond lengths are 2.81 Å. Cr is bonded in a linear geometry to one V and one Al atom. The Cr–Al bond length is 2.63 Å. Al is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Cr atoms.
