Materials Data on Al2FeNi by Materials Project
FeNiAl2 is Heusler-like structured and crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Fe is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Al atoms. All Fe–Al bond lengths are 2.45 Å. Ni is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Al atoms. All Ni–Al bond lengths are 2.52 Å. Al is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Fe and four equivalent Ni atoms.
