Materials Data on Al2CuPd by Materials Project

PdCuAl2 is Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pd is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Al atoms. All Pd–Al bond lengths are 2.62 Å. Cu is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Al atoms. All Cu–Al bond lengths are 2.62 Å. Al is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Pd and four equivalent Cu atoms.

Materials Data on Al2CuPd by Materials Project

PdCuAl2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two PdCuAl2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Pd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Al atoms. Both Pd–Al bond lengths are 2.36 Å. Cu is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Al atoms. Both Cu–Al bond lengths are 2.42 Å. Al is bonded in a linear geometry to one Pd and one Cu atom.
