Materials Data on Al2CoNi by Materials Project
CoNiAl2 is Heusler-like structured and crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Co is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Al atoms. All Co–Al bond lengths are 2.48 Å. Ni is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Al atoms. All Ni–Al bond lengths are 2.50 Å. Al is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Co and four equivalent Ni atoms.
