Materials Data on ThAlRh by Materials Project
ThRhAl crystallizes in the hexagonal P-62m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Th is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to five Rh atoms. All Th–Rh bond lengths are 3.01 Å. There are two inequivalent Rh sites. In the first Rh site, Rh is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to three equivalent Th and six equivalent Al atoms. All Rh–Al bond lengths are 2.67 Å. In the second Rh site, Rh is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Th and three equivalent Al atoms. All Rh–Al bond lengths are 2.84 Å. Al is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to four Rh atoms.
