Materials Data on PrAl by Materials Project

PrAl is Tetraauricupride structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pr is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Al atoms. All Pr–Al bond lengths are 3.25 Å. Al is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Pr atoms.

Materials Data on PrAl2 by Materials Project

PrAl2 is Cubic Laves structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fd-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pr is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Pr and twelve equivalent Al atoms. All Pr–Pr bond lengths are 3.50 Å. All Pr–Al bond lengths are 3.35 Å. Al is bonded to six equivalent Pr and six equivalent Al atoms to form a mixture of corner, edge, and face-sharing AlPr6Al6 cuboctahedra. All Al–Al bond lengths are 2.86 Å.

Materials Data on PrAl3 by Materials Project

PrAl3 crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3/mmc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pr is bonded to twelve equivalent Al atoms to form a mixture of distorted face and corner-sharing PrAl12 cuboctahedra. There are six shorter (3.20 Å) and six longer (3.28 Å) Pr–Al bond lengths. Al is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Pr and six equivalent Al atoms. There are two shorter (2.75 Å) and four longer (2.82 Å) Al–Al bond lengths.

Materials Data on Pr3Al by Materials Project

Pr3Al is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pr is bonded to eight equivalent Pr and four equivalent Al atoms to form distorted PrPr8Al4 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent PrPr8Al4 cuboctahedra, edges with eight equivalent AlPr12 cuboctahedra, edges with sixteen equivalent PrPr8Al4 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent AlPr12 cuboctahedra, and faces with fourteen equivalent PrPr8Al4 cuboctahedra. All Pr–Pr bond lengths are 3.49 Å. All Pr–Al bond lengths are 3.49 Å. Al is bonded to twelve equivalent Pr atoms to form AlPr12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent AlPr12 cuboctahedra, edges with twenty-four equivalent PrPr8Al4 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent AlPr12 cuboctahedra, and faces with twelve equivalent PrPr8Al4 cuboctahedra.

Materials Data on PrAl4 by Materials Project

PrAl4 crystallizes in the tetragonal I4/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pr is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to sixteen Al atoms. There are eight shorter (3.29 Å) and eight longer (3.56 Å) Pr–Al bond lengths. There are two inequivalent Al sites. In the first Al site, Al is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Pr and five Al atoms. There are one shorter (2.54 Å) and four longer (2.66 Å) Al–Al bond lengths. In the second Al site, Al is bonded to four equivalent Pr and eight Al atoms to form a mixture of distorted face, edge, and corner-sharing AlPr4Al8 cuboctahedra. All Al–Al bond lengths are 3.04 Å.

Materials Data on PrAl by Materials Project

PrAl crystallizes in the orthorhombic Cmcm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pr is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to eight Al atoms. There are a spread of Pr–Al bond distances ranging from 3.19–3.54 Å. There are two inequivalent Al sites. In the first Al site, Al is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to eight equivalent Pr and two equivalent Al atoms. Both Al–Al bond lengths are 2.73 Å. In the second Al site, Al is bonded to eight equivalent Pr and four Al atoms to form a mixture of edge, corner, and face-sharing AlPr8Al4 cuboctahedra. Both Al–Al bond lengths are 2.88 Å.

Materials Data on PrAl3 by Materials Project

PrAl3 is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pr is bonded to twelve equivalent Al atoms to form a mixture of corner and face-sharing PrAl12 cuboctahedra. All Pr–Al bond lengths are 3.10 Å. Al is bonded in a distorted square co-planar geometry to four equivalent Pr atoms.
