Materials Data on NdAlRh by Materials Project
NdRhAl crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Nd is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Rh atoms. There are a spread of Nd–Rh bond distances ranging from 2.94–3.10 Å. Rh is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Nd and four equivalent Al atoms. There are a spread of Rh–Al bond distances ranging from 2.62–2.78 Å. Al is bonded to four equivalent Rh atoms to form a mixture of distorted corner and edge-sharing AlRh4 tetrahedra.
