Materials Data on AlCuPt2 by Materials Project
Pt2CuAl crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pt2- is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Cu1+ and four equivalent Al3+ atoms. All Pt–Cu bond lengths are 2.67 Å. All Pt–Al bond lengths are 2.67 Å. Cu1+ is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Pt2- atoms. Al3+ is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Pt2- atoms.
