Materials Data on AlGaCo2 by Materials Project

Co2GaAl is Heusler-like structured and crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Co is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Ga and four equivalent Al atoms. All Co–Ga bond lengths are 2.49 Å. All Co–Al bond lengths are 2.48 Å. Ga is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Co atoms. Al is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Co atoms.

Materials Data on AlGaCo2 by Materials Project

Co2GaAl crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Co2GaAl ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Co is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ga and one Al atom. The Co–Ga bond length is 2.35 Å. The Co–Al bond length is 2.35 Å. Ga is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Co atoms. Al is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Co atoms.

Co is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Ga and four equivalent Al atoms. All Co–Ga bond lengths are 2.48 Å. All Co–Al bond lengths are 2.48 Å. Ga is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Co and six equivalent Al atoms. All Ga–Al bond lengths are 2.87 Å. Al is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Co and six equivalent Ga atoms.
