ScPd2Ag crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two ScPd2Ag ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Sc is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pd atoms. Both Sc–Pd bond lengths are 2.21 Å. Pd is bonded in a linear geometry to one Sc and one Ag atom. The Pd–Ag bond length is 2.67 Å. Ag is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pd atoms.
Sc2PdAg crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Sc2PdAg ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Sc is bonded in a linear geometry to one Pd and one Ag atom. The Sc–Pd bond length is 2.35 Å. The Sc–Ag bond length is 2.82 Å. Pd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Sc atoms. Ag is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Sc atoms.
