Materials Data on Mg2AgAu by Materials Project

Mg2AuAg is Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Mg is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Au and four equivalent Ag atoms. All Mg–Au bond lengths are 2.87 Å. All Mg–Ag bond lengths are 2.87 Å. Au is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Mg atoms. Ag is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Mg atoms.

Materials Data on MgAgAu2 by Materials Project

MgAu2Ag crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two MgAu2Ag ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Mg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Au atoms. Both Mg–Au bond lengths are 2.48 Å. Au is bonded in a linear geometry to one Mg and one Ag atom. The Au–Ag bond length is 2.68 Å. Ag is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Au atoms.
