Materials Data on YbAlAg2 by Materials Project
YbAg2Al is Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Yb is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Ag atoms. All Yb–Ag bond lengths are 2.96 Å. Ag is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Yb and four equivalent Al atoms. All Ag–Al bond lengths are 2.96 Å. Al is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Ag atoms.
