Study of D s + → f 0 ( 980 ) ρ + and ϕ π + Decays through D s + → π + π + π − π 0

We perform the first amplitude analysis of D s + → π + π + π − π 0 decays based on data samples of electron-positron collisions recorded with the BESIII detector at center-of-mass energies between 4.128 and 4.226 GeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 7.33 fb − 1 . We report the observation of D s + → f 0 ( 980 ) ρ ( 770 ) + with a statistical significance greater than 10 σ and determine the branching fractions B ( D s + → π + π + π − π 0 | non − η ) = ( 2.04 ± 0.0 8 stat ± 0.0 5 syst ) % and B ( D s + → η π + ) = ( 1.56 ± 0.0 9 stat ± 0.0 4 syst ) % . Moreover, we measure the relative branching fraction between ϕ → π + π − π 0 and ϕ → K + K − to be [ B ( ϕ ( 1020 ) → π + π − π 0 ) / B ( ϕ ( 1020 ) → K + K − ) ] = 0.230 ± 0.01 4 stat ± 0.01 0 syst ., which deviates from the world average value by more than 4 σ . Observation of D + → η ′ μ + ν μ and First Experimental Study of D + → η ′ ℓ + ν ℓ Decay Dynamics

Using 20.3 fb − 1 of e + e − collision data collected at the center-of-mass energy 3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector, we report the first observation of the semileptonic decay D + → η ′ μ + ν μ with significance of 8.6 σ including systematic uncertainties, and an improved measurement of D + → η ′ e + ν e . The branching fractions of D + → η ′ μ + ν μ and D + → η ′ e + ν e are determined to be ( 1.92 ± 0.2 8 stat ± 0.0 8 syst ) × 10 − 4 and ( 1.79 ± 0.1 9 stat ± 0.0 7 syst ) × 10 − 4 , respectively. The ratio of the two branching fractions is determined to be R μ / e = 1.07 ± 0.1 9 stat ± 0.0 3 syst , which agrees with the theoretical expectation of lepton flavor universality within the standard model. From an analysis of the D + → η ′ ℓ + ν ℓ decay dynamics, the product of the hadronic form factor f + η ′ ( 0 ) and the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element | V c d | is measured for the first time, giving f + η ′ ( 0 ) | V c d | = ( 5.92 ± 0.5 6 stat ± 0.1 3 syst ) × 10 − 2 . The η − η ′ mixing angle in the quark flavor basis is determined to be ϕ P = ( 39.8 ± 0.8 stat ± 0.3 syst ) ° . Published by the American Physical Society 2025

Implementing Inertial Control for PMSG-WTG in Region 2 Using Virtual Synchronous Generator with Multiple Virtual Rotating Masses

With the increasing integration of renewable energy, the problems associated with a deteriorating grid frequency profile and potential power system instability have become more significant. In this paper, the inertial control algorithm using a virtual synchronous generator (VSG) is implemented on a Type 4 permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) wind turbine generator (WTG). The overall nonlinear dynamic model and its small-signal linearization of the PMSG-WTG using a VSG is established and comprehensively analyzed. Inevitably, the direct application of the VSG introduces a large inertia, which causes conflict between the fast variance of available wind power and inverter control with slow dynamics, particularly in Region 2 of the wind turbine. Aiming to address such issues, a VSG with multiple virtual rotating masses is proposed to improve the active power tracking performance as well as to boost the inertial control of a VSG. The inertial responses are verified in a modified 10-MVA IEEE 14-bus microgrid system. The assessment of the simulation results demonstrates the applicability of the VSG on renewable energy generation units.

Using a sample of 1.31 × 10 9 J/ψ events collected with the BESIII detector, we perform a study of J/ψ → γKK¯η'. X(2370) is observed in the KK¯η' invariant-mass distribution with a statistical significance of 8.3σ. Its resonance parameters are measured to be M = 2341.6 ± 6.5(stat.) ± 5.7(syst.) Study of e+e- → γΦJ/ψ from $\sqrt{s}$ = 4.600 to 4.951 GeV

Using data samples with an integrated luminosity of 6.4 fb -1 collected by the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII storage ring, the process of e+e- → γΦJ/ψ is studied. The processes of e + e - → Φχc1,c2, χc1,c2 → γJ/ψ are observed with a significance of more than 10σ. The √s-dependent cross section of e + e - → Φχc1,c2 is measured between 4.600 and 4.951 GeV, and evidence of a resonance structure is found for the first time in the Φχc2 process. We also search for the processes of e + e - → γX(4140), γX(4274) and γX(4500) via the γΦJ/ψ final state, but no obvious structures are found. The upper limits on the production cross section times the branching fraction for these processes at the 90% confidence level are reported.

Abstract Based one + e − collision data collected at center-of-mass energies from 2.000 to 3.080 GeV by the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider, a partial wave analysis is performed for the processe + e − →$$ {K}_S^0{K}_L^0 $$ K S 0 K L 0 π 0 . The results allow the Born cross sections of the processe + e − →$$ {K}_S^0{K}_L^0 $$ K S 0 K L 0 π 0 , as well as its subprocessese + e − →K ∗ (892) 0 $$ \overline{K} $$ K ¯ 0 and$$ {K}_2^{\ast } $$ K 2 ∗ (1430) 0 $$ \overline{K} $$ K ¯ 0 to be measured. The Born cross sections fore + e − →$$ {K}_S^0{K}_L^0 $$ K S 0 K L 0 π 0 are consistent with previous measurements by BaBar, but with substantially improved precision. The Born cross section lineshape of the processe + e − K ∗ (892) 0 $$ \overline{K} $$ K ¯ 0 is consistent with a vector meson state around 2.2 GeV with a significance of 3.2σ. A Breit-Wigner fit determines its mass asM Y = (2164.7±9.1±3.1) MeV/c 2 and its width as Γ Y = (32.4±21.0±1.8) MeV.

Study of η(1405)/η(1475) in $J/\psi \to \gamma {K}_S^0{K}_S^0{\pi}^0$ decay

Using a sample of (10 . 09 ± 0 . 04) × 10 9 J/ψ decays collected with the BESIII detector, partial wave analyses of the decay $ J/\psi \to \gamma {K}_S^0{K}_S^0{\pi}^0$ are performed within the ${K}_S^0{K}_S^0{\pi}^0$ invariant mass region below 1.6 GeV/ c 2 . The covariant tensor amplitude method is used in both mass independent and mass dependent approaches. Both analysis approaches exhibit dominant pseudoscalar and axial vector components, and show good consistency for the other individual components. Furthermore, the mass dependent analysis reveals that the ${K}_S^0{K}_S^0{\pi}^0$ invariant mass spectrum for the pseudoscalar component can be well described with two isoscalar resonant states using relativistic Breit-Wigner model, i.e., the η (1405) with a mass of $1391.7\pm {0.7}_{-0.3}^{+11.3}$ MeV/ c 2 and a width of $60.8\pm {1.2}_{-12.0}^{+5.5}$ MeV, and the η (1475) with a mass of $1507.6\pm {1.6}_{-32.2}^{+15.5}$ MeV/ c 2 and a width of $115.8\pm {2.4}_{-10.9}^{+14.8}$ MeV. The first and second uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. Alternate models for the pseudoscalar component are also tested, but the description of the ${K}_S^0{K}_S^0{\pi}^0$ invariant mass spectrum deteriorates significantly.

The results are consistent with and more precise than the previous measurements by the Belle, Babar and CLEO collaborations. The measurements are essential for understanding the nature of vector charmonium and charmonium-like states.

The branching fractions of the decays χcJ → ΦΦ (J = 0, 1, 2) are determined to be (8.59 ± 0.27 ± 0.20) × 10-4, (4.26 ± 0.13 ± 0.15) × 10-4, and (12.67 ± 0.28 ± 0.33) × 10-4, respectively, which are the most precise measurements to date. From a helicity amplitude analysis of the process ψ(3686) → γχcJ , χcJ → ΦΦ, Φ → K+K-, the polarization parameters of the χcJ → ΦΦ decays are determined for the first time.

Study of η′ → π+π−l+l− decays at BESIII

Abstract With a sample of (10087±44)×10 6 J/ψevents accumulated with the BESIII detector, we analyze the decaysη′→ π + π − l + l − (l=e, μ) via the processJ/ψ → γη′. The branching fractions are measured to be$$ \mathcal{B} $$ B (η′→ π + π − e + e − ) = (2.45±0.02(stat.)±0.08(syst.))×10 −3 and$$ \mathcal{B} $$ B (η′→ π + π − μ + μ − ) = (2.16±0.12(stat.)±0.06(syst.))×10 −5 , and the ratio is$$ \frac{\mathcal{B}\left({\eta}^{\prime}\to {\pi}^{+}{\pi}^{-}{e}^{+}{e}^{-}\right)}{\mathcal{B}\left({\eta}^{\prime}\to {\pi}^{+}{\pi}^{-}{\mu}^{+}{\mu}^{-}\right)}=113.4\pm 0.9\left(\textrm{stat}.\right)\pm 3.7\left(\textrm{syst}.\right) $$ B η ′ → π + π − e + e − B η ′ → π + π − μ + μ − = 113.4 ± 0.9 stat . ± 3.7 syst . . In addition, by combining theη′ →π + π − e + e − andη′ →π + π − μ + μ − decays, the slope parameter of the electromagnetic transition form factor is measured to beb η′ = 1.30 ± 0.19 (GeV/c 2 ) −2 , which is consistent with previous measurements from BESIII and theoretical predictions from the VMD model. The asymmetry in the angle between theπ + π − andl + l − decay planes, which has the potential to reveal theCP-violation originating from an unconventional electric dipole transition, is also investigated. The asymmetry parameters are determined to be$$ {\mathcal{A}}_{CP}\left({\eta}^{\prime}\to {\pi}^{+}{\pi}^{-}{e}^{+}{e}^{-}\right)=\left(-0.21\pm 0.73\left(\textrm{stat}.\right)\pm 0.01\left(\textrm{syst}.\right)\right)\% $$ A CP η ′ → π + π − e + e − = − 0.21 ± 0.73 stat . ± 0.01 syst . % and$$ {\mathcal{A}}_{CP}\left({\eta}^{\prime}\to {\pi}^{+}{\pi}^{-}{\mu}^{+}{\mu}^{-}\right)=\left(0.62\pm 4.71\left(\textrm{stat}.\right)\pm 0.08\left(\textrm{syst}.\right)\right)\% $$ A CP η ′ → π + π − μ + μ − = 0.62 ± 4.71 stat . ± 0.08 syst . % , implying that no evidence ofCP-violation is observed at the present statistics. Finally, an axion-like particle is searched for via the decayη′ →π + π − a, a→e + e − , and upper limits of the branching fractions are presented for the mass assumptions of the axion-like particle in the range of 0−500 MeV/c 2 .
