An In-Field Alpha Spectrometer (IFAS) for UF 6 Enrichment Measurement – Review Meeting [Slides]

This project is developing an in-field alpha spectrometry system for the purpose of assaying grab samples of uranium hexafluoride (UF 6 ) and determining uranium enrichment. This system will accommodate Single-Use Destructive Assay (SUDA) samples (PNNL) and be field portable.
