PACE 2: Pricing and Cost Estimating Handbook

An automatic data processing system to be used for the preparation of industrial engineering type manhour and material cost estimates has been established. This computer system has evolved into a highly versatile and highly flexible tool which significantly reduces computation time, eliminates computational errors, and reduces typing and reproduction time for estimators and pricers since all mathematical and clerical functions are automatic once basic inputs are derived.

Creating a Team Archive During Fast-Paced Anomaly Response Activities in Space Missions

This paper describes a Web-based system to support the temporary Anomaly Response Team formed from distributed subteams in Space Shuttle and International Space Station missions. The system was designed for easy and flexible creation of small collections of files and links associated with work on a particular anomaly. The system supports privacy and levels of formality for the subteams. First we describe the supported groups and an anomaly response scenario. Then we describe the support system prototype, the Anomaly Response Tracking and Integration System (ARTIS). Finally, we describe our evaluation approach and the results of the evaluation.

Calibration Plan for the Ocean Color Instrument (OCI) on the Plankton, Aerosol, and Cloud ocean Ecosystem (PACE) mission

The basic product measured by OCI is the top-of atmosphere (TOA) radiance at different wavelengths. Three types of calibration/characterization are necessary for ocean color processing: Pre launch calibration/characterization (absolute/spectral calibration and image artifacts), On-orbit calibration (solar diffuser and lunar measurements) and Vicarious calibration (in-situ measurements of water-leaving radiance).
