AmeriFlux CA-DB2 Delta Burns Bog 2

This is the AmeriFlux version of the carbon flux data for the site CA-DB2 Delta Burns Bog 2. Site Description - The Burns Bog Ecological Conservancy Area (BBECA) in the metro Vancouver area presents a unique opportunity for insight into greenhouse gas dynamics post restoration. The bog was significantly disturbed for peat mining, development and agriculture over the last century, however since 2005 there has been both active restoration and natural regeneration occurring within the bog. Hence areas of bog are at varying stages of ecological recovery. This site is a Pine-Sphagnum low shrub site characteristic of a later successional stage. Conversely, CA-DBB, another AmeriFlux site in BBECA, is a Beakrush-Sphagnum site characteristic of an earlier successional stage.

AmeriFlux US-Wwt Willamette Wheat

This is the AmeriFlux version of the carbon flux data for the site US-Wwt Willamette Wheat. Site Description - The site was established in summer 2014 and is part of the Oregon eddy covariance flux tower network . Meteorological variables such as temperature, humidity, solar irradiance and wind are measured at this site. Turbulent fluxes of water vapor, carbon dioxide and heat are observed and stored as 30 minute averages. The crop changes periodically and rye grass and fescue is grown alternately at this site located in Oregon's Willamette Valley with its relatively mild climate. The Wheat site is also part of the PhenoCam network operated by Harvard University and the University of New Hampshire.

AmeriFlux MX-Ray Rayon, monsoon subtropical shrubland

This is the AmeriFlux version of the carbon flux data for the site MX-Ray Rayon, monsoon subtropical shrubland. Site Description - Precipitation during the NAM season (July–September) is approximately 76% of the annual total at the site (Vivoni, Rodríguez, et al., 2010) leading to a peak in vegetation greenness in the month of August (Méndez‐Barroso et al., 2009). Site vegetation is composed of drought‐deciduous trees and shrubs, including torote papelío (Jatropha cordata), tree ocotillo (Fouquieria macdougalii), acacia (Acacia cochliacantha), palo verde (Parkinsonia praecox), Mexican mimosa (Mimosa distachya), and velvet mesquite (Prosopis velutina) as well as organpipe cactus (Stenocereus thurberi).

AmeriFlux US-Bsg Burns Sagebrush

This is the AmeriFlux version of the carbon flux data for the site US-Bsg Burns Sagebrush. Site Description - The site was established in 2012 and is part of a NOAA observation network for high precision measurements of carbon dioxide concentrations. It is located about 60 km southwest of Burns, Oregon in the Oregon High Desert. The vegetation in this area is dominated by sagebrush. The sampling inlets are at the heights of 18.5, 28.5, and 38.5 m. Gas analysis is performed with a Picarro 2302 Cavity Ringdown Spectrometer and a Li-Cor 7200 enclosed path IRGA. The tower is also equipped with a set of meteorological instruments, including an HMP sensor, radiation sensors (incoming and diffuse PAR, Net radiometer), and a CSAT3 sonic anemometer. This site is also part of the PhenoCam network operated by Harvard University and the University of New Hampshire.
