Ultracompact dark matter (DM) minihalos at masses at and below 10 –12 $M_⊙$ arise in axion DM models where the Peccei-Quinn (PQ) symmetry is broken after inflation. The minihalos arise from density perturbations that are generated from the nontrivial axion self-interactions during and shortly after the collapse of the axion-string and domain-wall network. We perform high-resolution simulations of this scenario starting at the epoch before the PQ phase transition and ending at matter-radiation equality. We characterize the spectrum of primordial perturbations that are generated and comment on implications for efforts to detect axion DM. In this work, we also measure the DM density at different simulated masses and argue that the correct DM density is obtained for $m_a$ = 25.2 ± 11.0 μ eV .

We search for a first-order phase transition gravitational wave signal in 45 pulsars from the NANOGrav 12.5-year dataset. We find that the data can be modeled in terms of a strong first order phase transition taking place at temperatures below the electroweak scale. However, we do not observe any strong preference for a phase-transition interpretation of the signal over the standard astrophysical interpretation in terms of supermassive black hole mergers; but we expect to gain additional discriminating power with future datasets, improving the signal to noise ratio and extending the sensitivity window to lower frequencies. An interesting open question is how well gravitational wave observatories could separate such signals.

The current paper reports an investigation of a warm inflationary scenario in the context of f(T) gravity for a spatially flat FLRW universe. In our model, inflation is driven purely by the torsional sector of f(T) gravity, without introducing any additional scalar fields. We focus on the high dissipative regime (R >> 1), reconstruct the Hubble parameter as a function of the e-folding number N, and derive the slow-roll parameters ε 1 (N) and ε 2 (N). The study has encapsulated the dynamics of inflation and its duration under strong dissipation. The dissipative coefficient Γ is modeled with a temperature-dependent power-law form, linking the inflationary dynamics to thermal corrections and the particle content of the early universe. The analysis has affirmed that the torsion-induced energy density ρ T successfully transitions to radiation energy density ρ rad , facilitating a graceful exit from inflation. Finally, we have validated our model by comparing the scalar spectral index and tensor-to-scalar ratio with Planck 2018 results, demonstrating consistency within observational bounds. Additionally, it is verified that the thermal domination condition T * /H > 1 and the torsion dominance condition ρ T /ρ rad > 1 are satisfied.
The focus of the research was to improve compression by optimizing the in situ compression configuration based on parameters in different regions.
