An index of lunar photography taken during the Apollo 12 mission is presented. Prominent lunar features are identified and named. A superimposed grid provides coordinate location for lunar topographical features. The photographs are of targets of opportunity taken with a 70 millimeter camera.
An annotated bibliography of selected reports, journal articles, and other documents on the subject of management is presented. There are 450 references to documents which were originally announced in the 1971 issues of Scientific and Technical Aerospace Reports (STAR) or International Aerospace Abstracts (IAA). Subject, personal author, and corporate source indexes are included.
This index is intended to serve as a ready reference tool for the names, places and events that comprise the history of John F. Kennedy Space Center. The period covered is December 1962 through February 1972. The arrangement is alphabetical by subject; under each subject, entries are arranged alphabetically by title. To facilitate use, cross references and scope notes have been provided.
This publication is a cumulative index to the abstracts contained in NASA SP-7037 (02) through NASA SP-7037 (13) of Aeronautical Engineering: A Special Bibliography.
The earth's collisionless plasma bow shock has, overall, a nonuniform structure whose magnetic profile is simultaneously that of a monotonic or laminar perpendicular shock and of a multigradient oblique shock, depending on the local orientation of the interplanetary field to the nominal shock surface. A 'pulsation index' Ip has been devised from empirical results to provide a simple convenient means of assessing the probable local character of the shock's structure; Ip = 0 or 1, according to whether local field geometry favors perpendicular or oblique structure, respectively, at a chosen point of observation on the nominal shock surface.
Published observations of the interplanetary scintillation index m sub z are shown to vary with wavelength in a manner consistent with a smooth, power law spectrum of plasma fluctuations. This is in contrast to recent work arguing that the data require a spectrum with two separate regimes. It is concluded that published observations of m sub z are consistent with either type of density spectrum.
