The nEXO experiment is the “next” tonne-scale enriched xenon observatory which will be fielded deep underground to search for neutrinoless double-beta decay. The observation of neutrinoless double-beta decay is important to the low-energy physics community, and confirmation of the phenomenon will allow physicists to extend current physics models and propose new theories for the evolution of matter in our universe.
