Double Bootstrapping

This code performs a simulation experiment that involves (i) drawing random numbers from the normal distribution, (ii) resampling elements from arrays with replacement, and (iii) computing various quantities like mean, standard deviation, etc. Further information is available in section 4 of FERMILAB-FN-1273-ETD [https://inspirehep.net/literature/2925453].

ARCANE Reweighting Demo

ARCANE reweighting is a Monte Carlo technique for tackling the negative weights problem in simulations in high energy physics. The technique works by redistributing (via an additive reweighting) the contributions of different pathways within an event generator that lead to the same final event. The technique is exact and does not introduce any biases in the distributions of physical observables. This repository contains the code and data associated with a demonstration of ARCANE reweighting, for the generation of $e^+ e^- \longrightarrow q\bar{q} + 1\,\mathrm{jet}$ events at next-to-leading-order accuracy in perturbation theory. ARCANE reweighting was shown to almost completely eliminate the negative weights problem for this process.

Simulation-Based Inference for Neutrino Interaction Model Tuning

This project demonstrates, for the first time, the application of simulation-based inference (SBI) techniques to tune neutrino–nucleus interaction models. Using a mock dataset based on the MicroBooNE tuning of the GENIE event generator, our approach employs a Neural Posterior Estimator (NPE) with Masked Autoregressive Flows (MAF) to infer the posterior distributions of key GENIE parameters directly from simulated histograms. The workflow provides a scalable and amortized framework for performing likelihood-free inference in high-dimensional parameter spaces, offering a pathway to more efficient and uncertainty-aware model tuning for next-generation neutrino experiments such as DUNE and SBND.

static-subid: Deterministic subordinate UID/GID assignment for unprivileged containers

static-subid calculates predictable subordinate UID and GID ranges for Linux users based on their UID, ensuring consistent ID mappings across multiple systems. Unlike shadow-utils' sequential allocation (which depends on creation order), static-subid uses a deterministic formula that guarantees the same user UID always receives the same subordinate ID range. Subordinate IDs enable user namespaces for unprivileged container runtimes (Podman, Docker rootless mode, LXC) by mapping container UIDs/GIDs to host subordinate IDs without requiring root privileges.

Rhythm

Rhythm is a small Python framework that automates Cadence Spectre simulations from the command line. Instead of creating an ADE testbench, you'll write a Rhythm Recipe, a short, readable Python script that contains each step needed to test your circuit from setting up libraries and stimulus waveforms to setting up analyses and reading the results (in Rhythm, these steps are called stages). Need to run more than one simulation? Use a Rhythm Campaign to easily sweep across corners and test conditions with a live dashboard and multithreading support.

LeWRON: Learning ElectroWeak phase tRansitiON with agentic architecture

An agent to analyze electroweak phase transition. LeWRON turns a BSM model description or a reproduction target into a structured run: symbolic setup, effective-potential artifacts, finite-temperature machinery, generated model code, a scientific report, and an interactive exploration session. It keeps both machine-readable artifacts and human-readable notes, so a run can be resumed, audited, revised, and shared.

MINERvA Experiment Open Data Release

This is an open data product that contains all the neutrino and antineutrino data from the MINERvA experiment, packaged in a way that you can use. The ultimate package will contain both neutrino and antineutrino data, and will contain both our Low energy and Medium Energy data, where the neutrino energy distributions peaked around 3GeV and 6GeV respectively. We also provide simulated data and a way to access our uncertainties on that simulation, including flux, neutrino interaction, and detector uncertainties. The data (and simulated data) has already been pre-selected to contain either a muon candidate or an electron candidate.

Co-sputter deposition of Nb₃Sn layer into SRF cavity using Nb-Sn composite target

Nb₃Sn, with its superior superconducting critical temperature (Tc ~18.3 K) and superheating field (Hsh ~400 mT), is considered a promising material for superconducting radiofrequency (SRF) cavities, offering enhanced cryogenic performance compared to bulk niobium cavities. A Nb₃Sn coating technique has been developed for Nb SRF cavities using co-sputtering of Nb-Sn composite target in a DC cylindrical magnetron sputtering system. The composite target configuration and discharge conditions for co-sputtering were optimized to deposit Nb-Sn films on flat Nb substrates, followed by annealing to form Nb₃Sn. Multiple strategies have been explored to improve the surface homogeneity of the Nb₃Sn coating, including optimizing a two-step annealing process, annealing in Sn vapor, and a light Sn recoating process. A 1.5 µm Nb-Sn co-sputtered film was deposited on the interior of a 2.6 GHz Nb SRF cavity and annealed at 600 °C for 6 h, followed by 950 °C for 1 h. Cryogenic RF testing of the annealed cavity demonstrated a Tc of 17.8 K, confirming the formation of Nb₃Sn. Then, the annealed cavity underwent a light recoating treatment and attained a quality factor (Q0) of 8.5E+08 at 2.0 K.
