Establishing an Early CO2 Storage Complex in Kemper County, Mississippi (ECO2S): Geological Data Catalog Report (Deliverable 1.3.b.3)
Data from various ground and satellite sensors collected and processed by various institutions cannot be used easily without a well planned method of determining their existence and location. The Global On-Line Data (GOLD) Catalog will provide a requestor with the ability to determine the existence of specific data holdings by specifying any combination of platform, measurement, location, or time. By this means, one can obtain details of data held at PODS and also at cooperating remote archives.
Observations of 1969 inferior conjunction and greatest western elongation of Venus, and Earth sky brightness effects on data - catalog and preliminary analysis
Complete data documentation for Nimbus 4 from 1 March through 30 April 1971 is presented. Summaries of individual experiments are included along with montages of the image dissector, and temperature-humidity infrared radiometer.
Operations of various experiments during the reporting period are summarized. Orbital elements, data availability times, anomalies in the data, geographic location, and time of data are tabulated. Montages obtained by infrared and microwave radiometers are included.
For abstract, see N78-17128.

Applications Technology Satellite /ATS-1/ spin scan cloud camera and meteorology data catalog
Subsections 1.2 through 1.10 of this catalog summarize the operational highlights of the individual experiments, present preliminary experiment results, and call attention to known data anamolies. Section 2 lists the on-off times for each experiment and provides a method for determining the geographical coverage of each experiment. Section 3 shows selected HIRS, SCAMS and ESMR images, and Section 4 presents THIR montages. Section 5 presents corrections to The Nimbus 6 User's Guide.

The specifications, design, software description, and use of the SKYMAP star catalog system are detailed. The SKYMAP system was developed to provide an accurate and complete catalog of all stars with blue or visual magnitudes brighter than 9.0 for use by attitude determination programs. Because of the large number of stars which are brighter than 9.0 magnitude, efficient techniques of manipulating and accessing the data were required. These techniques of staged distillation of data from a Master Catalog to a Core Catalog, and direct access of overlapping zone catalogs, form the basis of the SKYMAP system. The collection and tranformation of data required to produce the Master Catalog data base is described. The data flow through the main programs and levels of star catalogs is detailed. The mathematical and logical techniques for each program and the format of all catalogs are documented.
