This catalog announces the present/expected availability of scientific data acquired by the Viking missions and contains descriptions of the Viking spacecraft, experiments, and data sets. An index is included listing the team leaders and team members for the experiments. Information on NSSDC facilities and ordering procedures, and a list of acronyms and abbreviations are included in the appendices.
The World Standard Catalog lists imagery acquired by LANDSAT 3 which was processed and input to the data files during the referenced period. Information such as date of entry, cloud cover, and image quality is given for each scene. The microfilm roll and frame on which the scene may be found is also indicated.
Skymap data and data-handling programs for 255,000 stars is discussed. Data should prove useful to astronomers, spacecraft designers, and others who have need for comprehensive star catalog.
The World Standard Catalog lists imagery acquired by LANDSAT 2 which was processed and input to the data files during the referenced period. Information such as cloud cover and image quality is given for each scene. The microfilms roll and frame on which the scene may be found is also given.

Ultraviolet stellar spectra in the wavelength region from 1300 to 5000 A (130 to 500) were photographed during the three manned Skylab missions using a 15 cm aperture objective-prism telescope. The prismatic dispersion varied from 58 A mm/1 at 1400 A to 1600 A mm/1 at 3000 A. Approximately 1000 spectra representing 500 stars were measured and reduced to observed fluxes. About 100 stars show absorption lines of Si IV, C IV, or C II. Numerous line features are also recorded in supergiant stars, shell stars, A and F stars, and Wolf-Rayet stars. Most of the stars in the catalog are of spectral class B, with a number of O and A type stars and a sampling of WC, WN, F and C type stars. Spectrophotometric results are tabulated for these 500 stars.
A complete catalog is presented for the random access files used by the ATLAS integrated structural analysis and design system. ATLAS consists of several technical computation modules which output data matrices to corresponding random access file. A description of the matrices written on these files is contained herein.
This paper is a summary of the observations of the cosmic X-ray sky performed by the MIT 1-40-keV X-ray detectors on OSO 7 between October 1971 and May 1973. Specifically, mean intensities or upper limits of all third Uhuru or OSO 7 cataloged sources (185 sources) in the 3-10-keV range are computed. For those sources for which a statistically significant (greater than 20) intensity was found in the 3-10-keV band (138 sources), further intensity determinations were made in the 1-15-keV, 1-6-keV, and 15-40-keV energy bands. Graphs and other simple techniques are provided to aid the user in converting the observed counting rates to convenient units and in determining spectral parameters. Long-term light curves (counting rates in one or more energy bands as a function of time) are plotted for 86 of the brighter sources.
A catalog containing basic optical information on all radio galaxies (radio luminosity at least about 10 to the 41st erg/s) which have been identified and for which redshifts have been measured is given. Included are the coordinate designations; other names; equatorial coordinates; visual magnitudes; galaxy types; redshifts and the lines on which they are based; radio flux at 408 MHz where it is available; radio spectral index; and references for identification, finding charts, and optical and spectroscopic studies. Cross-reference tables are provided for finding coordinate designations of sources known by noncoordinate names.
Results from the A-1 all sky survey are used to develop a catalog of X-ray sources. Various techniques used to identify and position the detected sources are discussed.
A list of 195 nonstellar galactic sources of water maser emission has been compiled. This list is not a comprehensive catalog of all the available information; it is intended to be used as an index. As such, it contains only coordinates, velocities, and selected references. The extragalatic sources are listed in a separate table.
The scope of work in preparing the Coal Gasification Data Catalog included the following subtasks: (1) candidate system subsystem definition, (2) raw materials analysis, (3) market analysis for by-products, (4) alternate products analysis, (5) preliminary integrated facility requirements. Definition of candidate systems/subsystems includes the identity of and alternates for each process unit, raw material requirements, and the cost and design drivers for each process design.
This catalog of commercially available electric and hybrid vehicle propulsion system components is intended for designers and builders of these vehicles and contains 50 categories of components. These categories include those components used between the battery terminals and the output axle hub, as well as some auxiliary equipment. An index of the components and a listing of the suppliers and their addresses and phone numbers are included.
A catalog of 72 disconnection event (DES) in cometary plasma tails is presented as a basic data source for cometary and solar wind analysis. The events span the period 1892-1976, and are characterized on the basis of photographic observations. From the observed kinematics of rejected tails, methods are derived to calculate an estimated time of tail disconnection for each DE, either from the average law of motion for DEs lacking velocity measurements, or from the observed velocities. The geometric circumstances of each DE at the times of separation and observation are also tabulated, and a brief description of each event is presented.
