In the second S site, S is bonded to two equivalent Co and two equivalent Ge atoms to form SCo2Ge2 tetrahedra that share corners with four equivalent CoGe4S2 octahedra, corners with two equivalent SCo2Ge2 tetrahedra, and an edgeedge with one SCo2Ge2 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 67–70°.
