Apollo 11 70-mm photographic catalog

Proof prints of virtually all the 70-mm photography exposed during the Apollo 11 mission are presented. The photography has been sorted by magazine and by frame number. The numbering scheme used throughout all Apollo mission is described. The catalog is designed to be used in conjunction with the section on 70-mm photography in Apollo 11 Photography: 70-mm, 16-mm, and 35-mm Frame Index, which provides pertinent information on each frame, and with Apollo Mission 11 Lunar Photography Indexes, which makes it possible to locate the area covered by each frame.

Shuttle/Agena study. Annex B: Catalog of existing flight equipment

The Agena space tug design was based on the requirements of representative reference missions, the use of existing hardware, and the experience gained from more than 300 Agena flights. To provide a convenient reference for understanding the Agena tug design selection or for evaluating alternative concepts, this catalog of existing flight equipment was prepared. Equipment descriptions are grouped by Agena subsystem, as follows: spaceframe; propulsion; electrical; guidance and flight controls; and telemetry, tracking, and command. These systems, most of which have been flight qualified on prior Agena programs, permit specialized mission requirements to be satisfied without sacrificing cost or reliability.

Data catalog of satellite experiments

This catalog is divided into three sections: data description contains descriptions of data available at or through NSSDC as well as descriptions of the experiments and spacecraft from which the data originated; and supporting data contains brief descriptions of space environment models and programs distributed by NSSDC. Section 3 is a series of indexes that contain: (1) a listing of all spacecraft, experiment, and data descriptions presented in Section 1 plus tables indicating the period for which each spacecraft was operational; (2) an index of all spacecraft described here, identified by common names and alternate names; (3) a listing of the original experiment institutions for all experiments described; (4) a listing of the investigators associated with the experiments and their current affiliations; and (5) an index of all experiments sorted by phenomenon measured.

Preliminary catalog of pictures taken on the lunar surface during the Apollo 16 mission

A catalog of all pictures taken from the lunar module or the lunar surface during the Apollo 16 lunar stay is presented. The tabulations are arranged for the following specific uses: (1) given the number of a particular frame, find its location in the sequence of lunar surface activity, the station from which it was taken and the subject matter of the picture; (2) given a particular location or activity within the sequence of lunar surface activity, find the pictures taken at that time and their subject matter; and (3) given a sample number from the voice transcript listed, find the designation assigned to the same sample by the lunar receiving laboratory.

A supplemental catalog of atmospheric densities from satellite-drag analysis

The catalog of densities derived from satellite-drag analysis extends and supplements similar earlier publications. The densities were computed from nine artificial satellites for effective heights ranging from 300 to 1130 km, and are presented together with pertinent data that permit the location in time and space of the point to which they refer. The intervals covered vary between 1 and 6 years for the different satellites and average about 3.5 years for the nine satellites. The cutoff date for the data included is, in most cases, January 14, 1970.

The Nimbus 4 data catalog. Volume 3: Data orbits 1124-1956, 1 July - 31 August 1970

The Nimbus 4 satellite catalog for the period of 1 July through 31 August, 1970 is presented. The subjects discussed are: (1) summary of operations, (2) orbital elements and daily sensors on table, (3) image dissector camera system montages, and (4) temperature-humidity infrared radiometer montages. Data are presented as tables and photographs.

Celescope catalog of ultraviolet stellar observations: 5068 objects measured by Orbiting Astronomical Observatory (OAO-2)

During the 16 months that the Celescope Experiment operated, it took 8000 frames of data. This report describes the experiment, the data it gathered, the format of the magnetic tape containing the data, and a number of programs that were written to read and manipulate the tape. The tape version of the catalog contains Data on 5068 stars and is available from the National Space Sciences Data Center.

Mariner Mars 1971 television picture catalog: Sequence design and picture coverage, volume 2, addendum 1

This addendum to the Mariner Mars 1971 Television Picture Catalog, Volume 2 (for abstract, see N73-20850) contains data for the Mariner 9 TV pictures taken after Rev 262. Some of the data presented in Volume 2 is brought up to date. The new provisional mapping pole is discussed, and tables provide the latitude and longitude with respect to the new pole, prime meridian, and rotation rate for the centerpoints of all the Mariner 9 TV pictures.

Project Shuttle simulation math model coordination catalog, revision 1

A catalog is presented of subsystem and environment math models used or planned for space shuttle simulations. The purpose is to facilitate sharing of similar math models between shuttle simulations. It provides information on mach model requirements, formulations, schedules, and contact persons for further information.

The Nimbus 5 data catalog. Volume 1: Data orbits 104 through 693, 19 December 1972 - 31 January 1973

Nimbus 5 was successfully launched from the Western Test Range at Vandenburg AFB, California, into a near circular orbit (1089 km x 1102 km) at 07 hr 56 min 00 sec GMT on 11 December 1972. All experiments and subsystems were successfully turned on. Satellite operations from launch (11 December) through orbit 103 (18 December) consisted of engineering evaluation of all spacecraft systems. As a result of that effort, data reception, accountability, and processing were intermittent during that period. Therefore, this catalog reflects documentation from orbit 104 (19 December 1972) through orbit 693 (31 January 1973). The pitch bias history, surface composition mapping radiometer, and infrared temperature profile radiometer are discussed.
