The Computed Tomography (CT) facilities, the Multi-Sensor Core Logger (MSCL), and the Geologic Storage Core Flow laboratory at the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) in Morgantown, West Virginia and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania were used to characterize a core through Upper Pennsylvanian strata (limestones, mudstones, and sandstones) from the Sleepy Hollow Reagan Unit (SHRU) 86A well in southwest-central Nebraska. The Integrated Mid-Continent Stack Carbon Storage Hub (IMSCS-HUB) core from the vertical well was obtained as part of the Department of Energy’s (DOE) effort to assess the feasibility of stacked storage complexes in Nebraska and Kansas to support a commercial-scale CO2 storage hub. The Sleepy Hollow Field (SHF) is one of three sites within the IMSCS-HUB corridor. Bulk scans of core were obtained from the IMSCS-HUB SHRU 86A well. This report, and the associated scans, include detailed datasets not typically made available to the public. The data sets presented in this report can be accessed from NETL's Energy Data eXchange (EDX) online system.
The Treated Effluent Disposal Facility (TEDF) is a site where treated non-hazardous and non-radioactive liquid wastes are collected and disposed of in two state-permitted disposal basins near the 200 East Area at the Hanford Site. In 2016, a renewal application was submitted for TEDF that requested mass loading effluent limits instead of concentration-based effluent limits. The Washington State Department of Ecology denied this request due to a lack of groundwater monitoring wells that can be used to identify and characterize the impact of TEDF discharges on the underlying groundwater. Current TEDF monitoring wells are screened in the confined aquifer below the Ringold Lower Mud (RLM) unit and are not representative of TEDF discharges that can potentially mound above the RLM unit.

Computed tomography and multi-sensor core logging of core material from twelve Ohio wells held by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Geological Survey to make publicly available core information from the Early Silurian Clinton Formation in Eastern Ohio. Describes data available can be accessed from NETL’s Energy Data eXchange (EDX) online system, https://edx.netl.doe.gov/dataset/ct-and-geophysical-data-of-ohio-clinton-sands.
SSA oral presentation
Conference presentation at American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) Annual Meeting, Phoenix, AZ, November 13–18, 2022. An analysis of rock physics crossplots and diagnostic models suggests that the baseline seismic data may be sensitive to changes in lithology and porosity of the Broom Creek Formation and that these changes may be detectable by prestack seismic inversion.
This is for a talk at the upcoming SIAM MPE meeting.

This data package contains pumping data (.txt), parameter matrices, and R code (.R, .RData) to perform bootstrapping for parameter selection for the bioclogging model development. The pumping data were collected from the Russian River Riverbank Filtration site located in Sonoma County, California from 2010-2017 from three riverbank collection wells located alongside the study site. The pumping data is directly correlated with water table oscillations, so the code performs these correlations and simulates stochastic versions of water table oscillations. See Metadata Description.pdf for full details on dataset production. This dataset must be used with the R programming language. This dataset and R code is associated with the publication "Influence of Hydrological Perturbations and Riverbed Sediment Characteristics on Hyporheic Zone Respiration of CO2 and N-2"This research was supported by the Jane Lewis Fellowship from the University of California, Berkeley, the Sonoma County Water Agency (SCWA), the Roy G. Post Foundation Scholarship, the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Science Graduate Student Research (SCGSR) Program, U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Science, Office of Biological and Environmental Research under award DE-AC02-05CH11231, and the UFZ-Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research, Leipzig, Germany.
