Five main stages of radial and concentric structures formed around Tharsis from the Noachian through the Amazonian as determined by geologic mapping of structures within the stratigraphic framework of Mars and by testing their orientations for radial and concentric orientations.
Venusian plains regions are globally crossed by closely spaced small-strain deformation features such as polygonal and gridded terrains, and wrinkle ridges. The observation that the spacing of these small-strain features is relatively globally uniform suggests that a global scale process is repsonsible for their formation.

Review of the major discoveries that have resulted to date from the analysis of seismic data from a network of geophysical stations on the moon. It is found that lunar seismic signals differ greatly from typical terrestrial seismic signals; the moon possesses a crust and a mantle, at least in the region of the Apollo 12 and 14 stations; natural lunar events detected by the Apollo seismic network are moonquakes and meteoroid impacts; and in addition to the repeating moonquakes, moonquake 'swarms' have been discovered.
