This evaluation is a significant general improvement of descriptions of nuclear reactions of neutrons on Li6. This will be of great value in fusion applications such as the planned IFMIF. This new evaluation does not use the many pseudo-excited states of Li6* to describe the breakup of Li6 in the n+H2+He4 exit channel, as was done in ENDF/B-VII.0 and ENDF/B-VIII.0, but puts all the (uncorrelated) distributions into an MT=32 channel with MF=6 data, alongside the single specific excited state Li6_e1 at 3.562 MeV excitation.

This project studied a perceived aversion to process-based engineering in ISR Division. Thirty interviews were conducted with ISR staff to explore research questions including perceived advantages and disadvantages of process and ISR strengths and weaknesses. Results were analyzed for synergies between the research questions. Results indicate an unexpected willingness to adopt process so long as that process does not stifle creativity and is flexible enough that it can be applied if and when it provides the most value.
Mission critical operations and other research in the past and present require the use of Time Sensitive Chemicals (TSC). TSC generate additional hazards over time and require routine testing or evaluation for safe usage and storage. in January 2023, testing and evaluation on TSC fell below 50% compliance and multiple containers required controlled destruction, leading to management action.
