Production and radiochemistry of the in vivo PET generator 140 Nd/ 140 Pr as an imaging surrogate for F-block therapeutic radionuclides

Theranostics, a combined approach of diagnostics and therapeutics, often employs F-block therapeutic radionuclides including 225 Ac, 177 Lu, and 161 Tb. While there is a lack of F-block PET imaging radionuclides, the in vivo PET generator pair 140 Nd/ 140 Pr can act as a theranostic imaging counterpart to the F-block therapeutic radionuclides. In this study, we explored the production and separation of high purity 140 Nd via the 141 Pr(p,2n) 140 Nd reaction route. Monoisotopic 141 Pr targets irradiated with 20 MeV protons for 10 min with 10 µA beam current yielded 21.45 ± 0.82 MBq (580 ± 22 µCi) of 140 Nd. A two-step separation method was developed for the purification of 140 Nd from the 141 Pr target material. Recoveries of 27.4 ± 2.1% 140Nd were obtained upon separation with < 20 ppb of 141 Pr target material in the final product. Radiolabeling of Macropa and DOTA chelators with 140 Nd resulted in [ 140 Nd]Nd-Macropa with a molar activity of 74.0 MBq/µmol (2.0 mCi/µmol) and [ 140 Nd]Nd-DOTA with a molar activity of 70.3 MBq/µmol (1.9 mCi/µmol). An imaging study with a phantom indicated the PET spatial resolution of 140 Nd/ 140 Pr was distinguishable down to 2.4 mm. This study sets the stage for the 140 Nd/ 140 Pr in vivo PET generator to be explored in radiopharmaceutical applications.

High-Precision Nd Isotopes in Picrites from Hawaii and Iceland - No Evidence for an Early-Formed Enriched Reservoir

New high-precision Nd isotope measurements have shown that the present-day Nd-142/Nd-144 for average chondrites is approximately 20 ppm lower than that for the terrestrial standard and all recent mantle-derived samples measured to date. One explanation for these differences is that an enriched missing reservoir with lower Nd-142/Nd-144 resides in the mantle to balance the bulk Earth to chondritic. Data from Archean Greenland rocks show anomalies in Nd-142/Nd-144 of up to 40 ppm higher than the proposed average for chondrites. This difference between the Archean Greenland rocks and present-day mantle-derived samples has been interpreted to result from remixing of an early-formed enriched reservoir into the convecting mantle during the Archean. If so, the implication from this is that remixing of the enriched reservoir largely shut down some time in the past such that it must at present reside in a region in the mantle that infrequently participates dynamically and leading to volcanism at the surface. Several studies have suggested that the missing reservoir may be present just above the coremantle boundary (CMB). Depending on the size of this reservoir it could potentially make up all of D or exist as distinct domains within it. If such a reservoir does exist, then mantle-derived samples from plume systems that are thought to come from the CMB may be the best opportunity to identify this component using high-precision Nd isotope measurements. To test this, picrites from Hawaii with coupled enrichments in Os-186-Os-187 that has been proposed to be a signature of core-mantle interaction were measured on the JSC Triton for high-precision Nd-142/Nd-144. For comparison, picrites from Hawaii and Iceland that do not show coupled enrichments in Os-186-Os-187 were measured. We have established an external precision for Nd-142/Nd-144 of 3.6 ppm (2 sigma) during the analytical campaign. The Iceland (n=5) and Hawaiian data (n=9) have Nd-142 ranging from -0.01 plus or minus 0.03 to +0.03 plus or minus 0.03 (2 sigma) and there is no resolvable difference between samples with Os isotope enrichments versus those without. The average epsilon Nd-142 of +0.011 plus or minus 0.034 (2 sigma ) for all of the samples (n=14) is not resolvable from the Ames and La Jolla standards with epsilon Nd-142 of +0.000 plus or minus 0.036 (n=16, 2 sigma). These data confirm recent measurements on lavas for the absence of an ancient enriched Nd-142 isotopic signature in plume systems likely derived from D and indicates that such a reservoir, if existing, must now reside in areas of the deep mantle that plumes do not sample.

The Stability of Nd Hydroxyl Complexes at Near Neutral to Alkaline pH from 25 to 75 °C: Implications for Monazite Solubility in Hydrothermal Aqueous Fluids

Speciation of rare earth elements (REE) in aqueous fluids controls their mobilization during fluid-rock interaction. Thermodynamic modeling provides important insights into the factors controlling REE mobility and fractionation in aqueous fluids, in which aqueous REE hydroxyl complexes are particularly important across a broad pH range. However, the stability of these REE hydroxyl complexes remains poorly determined due to limited experimental data above ambient temperature. In this work, UV–vis spectrophotometry experiments were conducted to determine the cumulative hydrolysis constants for neodymium (Nd) from 25 to 75 °C in near-neutral to alkaline solutions. The color indicator m -cresol purple was used to determine in situ pH. Alkaline NaOH-bearing aqueous solutions were doped with varying initial Nd concentrations (0 to ∼0.155 mmol/kg), which resulted in the release of protons (H + ) and pH decrease during hydrolysis of Nd 3+ according to Nd 3+ + n H 2 O = Nd(OH) n 3– n + H + . The average OH – ligand number coordinated to Nd 3+ was found to increase from 1.0 to 1.6 at 25 °C and from 1.2 to 2.8 at 75 °C over a pH range from 6.3 to 9.0. The measured speciation shows an increased predominance of Nd(OH) 3 0 over the Nd(OH) 2 + and Nd(OH) 2+ species with increased temperature and pH. The increasing cumulative formation constants (log*β° n , n = 1 to 3) retrieved from 25 to 75 °C differ by 0.1 to 1.9 logarithmic units in comparison to existing thermodynamic databases. These updated thermodynamic data have important implications for geochemical modeling of the speciation of Nd hydroxyl complexes and the solubility of monazite as a function of pH.

The Sm-(146,147)-Nd-(142,143) formation interval for the lunar mantle and implications for lunar evolution

Small anomalies in the isotopic abundance of Nd-142 have been measured for two A17 high-Ti basalts, ilmenite basalt 12056, olivine-pigeonite basalt 12039, feldspathic basalt 12038, and two KREEP basalts. These anomalies correlate with Sm-147/Nd-144 for the basalt source regions as calculated from initial Nd-143/Nd-144 ratios in the basalts, and are interpreted to be from decay of Sm-146 (t sub 1/2 = 103 Ma) in distinct lunar mantle reservoirs. A three-stage model for evolution of Nd-143/Nd-144 and Nd-142/Nd-144 yields reservoir Sm-147/Nd-144 ratios which, with the Nd-142/Nd-144 ratios in the basalts, form a 'mantle isochron' giving a lunar mantle formation interval of 94+2230 Ma (2c(rho)). Calculated reservoir Sm/Nd ratios are in the range expected from some earlier models of basalt petrogenesis. The isochron value of Nd-142/Nd-144 at Sm-147/Nd-144 sub CHUR = 0.1967 is within error limits of the average Nd-142/Nd-144 measured for an L6 chondrite, an H5 chondrite, and the Orgueil carbonaceous chondrite. Evolution of Nd-143 and Nd-142 for high-Ti basalt 70135 was modeled precisely, starting from chondritic relative REE and Nd-isotopic abundances and using the initial (Sm-146/Sm-144) sub 0 ratio inferred from a previous study of angrite LEW86010 as the initial solar system value of this parameter. We infer that the initial Sm/Nd ratio in precursor lunar materials was very nearly chondritic (within approximately 8 percent) prior to lunar differentiation.

Sm-Nd and Ar-Ar Studies of DHO 908 and 489: Implications for Lunar Crustal History

It is widely assumed that ferroan anorthosites (FANs) formed as flotation cumulates on a global lunar magma ocean (LMO). A corollary is that all FANs are approximately contemporaneous and formed with the same initial Nd-143/Nd-144 ratio. Indeed, a whole rock isochron for selected FANs (and An93 anorthosite) yields an isochron age of 4.42 +/- 0.13 Ga and initial Nd-143/Nd-144, expressed in epsilon-units, of epsilon(sub Nd,CHUR) = 0.3+/-0.3 relative to the CHondritic Uniform Reservoir , or epsilon(sub Nd,HEDPB)=-0.6+/-0.3 relative to the HED Parent Body. These values are in good agreement with the age (T) = 4.47+/-0.07 Ga, and epsilon(sub Nd,HEDPB) =-0.6 +/- 0.5 for FAN 67075. We also have studied anorthositic clasts in the Dhofar 908 and 489 lunar highland meteorites containing clasts of magnesian anorthosites (MAN) with Mg# approximately 75. Because of their relatively high Mg#, magnesian anorthosites should have preceded most FANs in crystallization from the LMO if both are LMO products. Thus, it is important to determine whether the Nd-isotopic data of MAN and FAN are consistent with a co-magmatic origin. We previously reported Sm-Nd data for white clast Dho 908 WC. Mafic minerals in this clast were too small to be physically separated for an isochron. However, we estimated initial Nd-143/Nd-144 for the clast by combining its bulk ("whole rock") Sm-Nd data with an Ar-39-Ar-40 age of 4.42+/-.04 Ga. Here we report additional Sm-Nd data for bulk samples of Dho 908 and its pair Dho 489.

Guiding Principles for Geochemical/Thermodynamic Model Development and Validation in Nuclear Waste Disposal: A Close Examination of Recent Thermodynamic Models for H + —Nd 3+ —NO 3 - (—Oxalate) Systems

Development of a defensible source-term model (STM), usually a thermodynamical model for radionuclide solubility calculations, is critical to a performance assessment (PA) of a geologic repository for nuclear waste disposal. Such a model is generally subjected to rigorous regulatory scrutiny. In this article, we highlight key guiding principles for STM model development and validation in nuclear waste management. We illustrate these principles by closely examining three recently developed thermodynamic models with the Pitzer formulism for aqueous H + —Nd 3+ —NO 3 - (—oxalate) systems in a reverse alphabetical order of the authors: the XW model developed by Xiong and Wang, the OWC model developed by Oakes et al., and the GLC model developed by Guignot et al., among which the XW model deals with trace activity coefficients for Nd(III), while the OWC and GLC models are for concentrated Nd(NO 3 ) 3 electrolyte solutions. The principles highlighted include the following: (1) Principle 1. Validation against independent experimental data: A model should be validated against experimental data or field observations that have not been used in the original model parameterization. We tested the XW model against multiple independent experimental data sets including electromotive force (EMF), solubility, water vapor, and water activity measurements. The results show that the XW model is accurate and valid for its intended use for predicting trace activity coefficients and therefore Nd solubility in repository environments. (2) Principle 2. Testing for relevant and sensitive variables: Solution pH is such a variable for an STM and easily acquirable. All three models are checked for their ability to predict pH conditions in Nd(NO 3 ) 3 electrolyte solutions. The OWC model fails to provide a reasonable estimate for solution pH conditions, thus casting serious doubt on its validity for a source-term calculation. In contrast, both the XW and GLC models predict close-to-neutral pH values, in agreement with experimental measurements. (3) Principle 3. Honoring physical constraints: Upon close examination, it is found that the Nd(III)-NO 3 association schema in the OWC model suffers from two shortcomings. Firstly, its second stepwise stability constant for Nd(NO 3 ) 2+ (log K 2 ) is much higher than the first stepwise stability constant for NdNO 3 2+ (log K 1 ), thus violating the general rule of (log K 2 –log K 1 ) < 0, or $\frac{K1}{K2}$>1. Secondly, the OWC model predicts abnormally high activity coefficients for Nd(NO 3 ) 2 + (up to ~900) as the concentration increases. (4) Principle 4. Minimizing degrees of freedom for model fitting: The OWC model with nine fitted parameters is compared with the GLC model with five fitted parameters, as both models apply to the concentrated region for Nd(NO 3 ) 3 electrolyte solutions. The latter appears superior to the former because the latter can fit osmotic coefficient data equally well with fewer model parameters. The work presented here thus illustrates the salient points of geochemical model development, selection, and validation in nuclear waste management.

Repetitively Q-switched Nd:BeL lasers

The thermal and mechanical characteristics which will ultimately limit the performance of Nd:BeL at high average power levels were investigated. The output beam characteristics (pulse width, peak power, beam dimensions and collimation) were determined at high repetition rates for both Nd:BeL and Nd:YAG. The output of Nd:BeL was shown to exceed that of Nd:YAG by a factor of 2.7 at low Q-switched repetition rates (1 Hz). This result follows from the smaller stimulated emission cross section of x-axis Nb:BeL compared to that of NdYAG by the same factor. At high repetition rates (10 Hz) the output of Nd:Bel falls to a level of three-fifths of its low repetition rate value while under similar tests the output of Nd:YAG remains essentially constant. A comparison of the measured values of the elasto-optic coefficients, the dn/dT values and the linear expansion coefficients for BeL and YAG failed to provide an explanation for the performance of BeL; however, thermal lensing was observed in Nd:BeL. Results imply that the output of a high repetition rate Q-switched Nd:BeL laser (high thermal loading) could be dramatically increased by utilization of a resonator design to compensate for the thermal lensing effects.

Sm-Nd and Rb-Sr Ages for Northwest Africa 2977, A Young Lunar Gabbro from the PKT

Northwest Africa (NWA) 2977 is an olivine gabbro cumulate equivalent to one of the lithologies in lunar mare breccia NWA 773 [1,2,3]. The Ar-39-Ar-40 age is 2.77+/-0.04 Ga based on the last approx.57% of the gas release [4], similar to results for NWA 773 [5]. A Sm-Nd age (T) of 2.865+/-0.031 Ga and Epsilon(sub Nd) = -7.84+/-0.22 for the NWA 773 gabbro reported by [6] has been revised to T = 2.993+/-=0.032 Ga, Epsilon(sub Nd) -4.5+/-0.3 [7]. Sm-147-Nd-143 isochron for NWA 2977: Whole rock, pyroxene, olivine, plagioclase, whole rock leachate (approx.phosphate) and the combined leachates from the mineral separates yield a well defined Sm-Nd isochron for an age T = 3.10+/-0.05 Ga and Epsilon(sub Nd-CHUR) = -3.74+/-0.26 [8], or Epsilon(sub Nd-HEDR) = -4.61+/-0.26 [9]. Rb-87-Sr-87 isochron: NWA 2977 contains only a modest amount of Rb and/or Sr contamination. The Sr-isotopic composition of the contaminant closely resembles that of seawater. The whole rock residue after leaching combined with leach residues for plagioclase and pyroxene define an isochron age of 3.29+/-0.11 Ga for initial Sr-87/Sr-86 = 0.70287+/-18. The olivine residue, with lower Sr abundance of approx 1.5 ppm, is only slightly displaced from the isochron. The relatively small uncertainties of the Rb-Sr isochron parameters and near-concordancy with the Sm-Nd age indicate that both the Rb-Sr and the Sm-Nd ages are reliable.

885-nm Pumped Ceramic Nd:YAG Master Oscillator Power Amplifier Laser System

The performance of a traditional diode pumped solid-state laser that is typically pumped with 808-nm laser diode array (LDA) and crystalline Nd:YAG was improved by using 885-nm LDAs and ceramic Nd:YAG. The advantage is lower quantum defect, which will improve the thermal loading on laser gain medium, resulting in a higher-performance laser. The use of ceramic Nd:YAG allows a higher Nd dopant level that will make up the lower absorption at the 885-nm wavelength on Nd:YAG. When compared to traditional 808-nm pump, 885-nm diodes will have 30% less thermal load (or wasted heat) and will thus see a similar percentage improvement in the overall laser efficiency. In order to provide a more efficient laser system for future flight missions that require the use of low-repetition- rate ( 1% Nd. To make certain that the absorption at 885 nm is on the same par as the 808-nm diode, the Nd:YAG material needs to be doped with higher concentration of Nd. Ceramic Nd:YAG is the only material that can be tailored to specific needs.

147 Nd Quantification Using HSCCC-Purified Samples

Quantifying the fission product 147 Nd in nuclear debris samples is an important component of post-detonation nuclear forensics. The most accurate quantifications are obtained when Nd is purified from all other fission products, actinides, activation products, and environmental matrix contained within the debris. In this study, a recently developed method for Nd purification was tested, purifying 147 Nd from solutions of mixed fission products using high-speed counter-current chromatography (HSCCC). Importantly, the new method allowed for faster elution of Nd from the column as compared with established high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) methods, and resulted in accurate/precise 147 Nd quantification by gamma-ray spectrometry. While the up-front equipment costs associated with HSCCC may be higher, its operational costs are on par with those of HPLC (solvents, extractants, power). Gas-flow proportional beta decay counting revealed contamination from the nearest neighbor lanthanide 143 Pr (a gamma-silent radioisotope) in the HSCCC-purified samples, but the activity contribution from 147 Nd could still be quantified. Remarkably consistent elution profiles were observed for the HSCCC method, spanning rare earth element (REE) loadings of more than 10 orders of magnitude (tracer to mmol quantities). In conclusion, the reliability and speed of the new method suggest utility for the rapid separation and quantification of 147 Nd in unknown samples.

Ramification of complex magnetism in Nd 2 Ir 2 O 7 observed by Raman scattering spectroscopy

Using Raman scattering spectroscopy, we uncover a complex magnetic behavior of Nd2Ir2O7, which stands out among magnetic pyrochlores by the lowest temperature of the all-in-all-out (AIAO) Ir moments ordering (${T}_{{\rm{Ir}}}^{{\rm{N}}} = 33$ K) and the highest temperature at which AIAO order of rare-earth Nd ions is detected (${T}_{{\rm{Nd}}}^{{\rm{* }}}$ = 15 K). Detected magnetic Raman scattering and calculations of expected response allow us to demonstrate that the ordering of Ir magnetic moments is accompanied by an appearance of one-magnon Raman modes at 26.3 and 29.6 meV compatible with the AIAO order and allowing to estimate the energies of Ir-Ir interactions. An additional two-magnon excitation of the AIAO Nd order at around 33 meV appears in the spectra below the ordering temperature of Nd moments ${T}_{{\rm{Nd}}}^{{\rm{* }}}$ = 15 K. In the temperature range between 15 K and 33 K we observe a broad mode, which demonstrates strong temperature dependence and shifts on cooling below 20 K from 14 meV to higher frequencies, and disappears at 5 K, when two-magnon excitation of Nd moments becomes prominent. We suggest an interpretation of this excitation in terms of continuum arising from collective fluctuations of Nd moments above the transition. This complex behavior emerges from the interplay of strong spin-orbit coupling, electronic correlations, and geometric frustration on two magnetic pyrochlore sublattices of Nd and Ir ions.

The isotopic composition of Nd in different ocean masses

The paper examines the isotopic composition of Nd in marine environments. The Sm-Nd data for authigenic ferromanganese sediments indicate that the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans have a distinct range in Nd isotopic composition characteristics of each ocean basin and reflect the dissolved load of Nd in the water mass. Measurements of the Nd isotopic seawater composition of seawater indicate that the rare earth elements (REE) in ferromanganese sediments are derived by direct precipitation of these elements out of seawater. It is believed that the Nd isotopic variations in these sediments represent true variations in the dissolved Nd isotopic composition which reflect the age and (Sm-147)/(Nd-144) ratios of the continental masses sampled believed to be the major source of REE in seawater.

Blackbody absorption efficiencies for six lamp pumped Nd laser materials

Utilizing high resolution spectra, the absorption efficiencies for six Nd laser materials were calculated as functions of the effective blackbody temperature of the lamp and laser crystal size. The six materials were Nd:YAG, Nd:YLF, Nd:Q-98 Glass, Nd:YVO4, Nd:BEL, and Nd:Cr:GSGG. Under the guidelines of this study, Nd:Cr:GSGG's absorption efficiency is twice the absorption efficiency of any of the other laser materials.

Efficiency of Nd laser materials with laser diode pumping

For pulsed laser-diode-pumped lasers, where efficiency is the most important issue, the choice of the Nd laser material makes a significant difference. The absorption efficiency, storage efficiency, and extraction efficiency for Nd:YAG, Nd:YLF, Nd:GSGG, Nd:BEL, Nd:YVO4, and Nd:glass are calculated. The materials are then compared under the assumption of equal quantum efficiency and damage threshold. Nd:YLF is found to be the best candidate for the application discussed here.

Sm-Nd Isotopic Systematics of Troctolite 76335

A study of the Sm-Nd isotopic systematics of lunar Mg-suite troctolite 76335 was undertaken to further establish the early chronology of lunar magmatism. Because the Rb-Sr isotopic systematics of similar sample 76535 yielded an age of 4570 +/- 70 Ma [2, lambda = 1.402 x 10(exp -11)], 76335 was expected to yield an old age. In contrast, the Sm-Nd and K-Ar ages of 76535 indicate that the sample is approximately 4260 Ma old, one of the youngest ages obtained for a Mg-suite rock. This study establishes the age of 76335 and discusses the constraints placed on its petrogenesis by its Sm-Nd isotope systematics. The Sm-Nd isotopic system of lunar Mg-suite troctolite 76335 indicates an age of 4278 +/- 60 Ma with an initial epsilon (sup 143)(sub Nd) value of 0.06 +/- 0.39. These values are consistent with the Sm-Nd isotopic systematics of similar sample 76535. Thus, it appears that a robust Sm-Nd age can be determined from a highly brecciated lunar sample. The Sm-Nd isotopic systematics of troctolites 76335 and 76535 appear to be different from those dominating the Mg-suite norites and KREEP basalts. Further analysis of the Mg-suite must be completed to reveal the isotopic relationships of these early lunar rocks.

New Nd-142 Evidence for a Non-Chondritic Composition of the Moon

The coupled Sm-147,146-Nd-143,142 systematics of lunar samples has been extensively studied for estimating the timescale of lunar differentiation. The published datasets yield consistent ages for Nd isotopic closure within the lunar mantle of approx.200 Myr after CAI formation. Although this time constraint is consistent with estimates derived from Hf-W chronometry of the Moon (>60 Myr after CAI formation), there is debate as to whether this age has chronological significance. Furthermore, there are discrepancies regarding the Nd isotope composition of the bulk Moon. Rankenburg et al. obtained a epsilon Nd-142 vs. Sm-147/Nd-144 correlation for lunar samples passing though the chondritic reference value (Sm-147/Nd-144 = 0.1967, epsilon Nd-142 = -0.21), suggesting that the Moon has a chondritic bulk composition. In contrast, the other datasets define a correlation line that passes approx.10-20 ppm above, suggesting that the Moon has a superchondritic Sm-147/Nd-144 (approx.0.206), close to that of the early depleted Earth (EDM). We present new Sm-Nd data for a high-Ti mare basalt (70135), two low-Ti mare basalt (LAP 02205 and MIL 05035) and a KREEPy low-Ti mare basalt (NWA 2977). These data are used to evaluate the significance of the Sm-Nd systematics for constraining the timescale of lunar differentiation and the bulk Nd isotope composition of the Moon.

Radiation-reduced diffusion of Nd in bcc Fe

Here, this study combines ab initio calculations and kinetic Monte Carlo simulations to investigate the bulk diffusion of Nd, an exemplar lanthanide element, in bcc Fe. Contrary to the conventional belief that irradiation accelerates diffusion processes, our study reveals that irradiation can unexpectedly reduce the diffusion of Nd due to the strong binding between substitutional Nd atoms and vacancies in bcc Fe. Combined with the high concentration of nonequilibrium vacancies, this promotes the abundant formation of Nd+3Va defect complexes containing a single Nd substitutional atom and three vacancies, accompanied by the depletion of Nd-vacancy pairs that mediate the diffusion of Nd.

Capping Effects on Spin and Charge Excitations in Parent and Superconducting Nd 1-x Sr x⁢ NiO 2

Superconductivity in infinite layer nickelates Nd 1-x⁢ Sr x NiO 2 has so far been achieved only in thin films, raising questions on the role of substrates and interfaces. Given the challenges associated with their synthesis it is imperative to identify their intrinsic properties. We use resonant inelastic x-ray scattering to investigate the influence of the SrTiO 3 capping layer on the excitations of Nd 1-x ⁢Sr x⁢ NiO 2 (x =0 and 0.2). Spin excitations are observed in parent and 20% doped Nd 1-x Sr x ⁢NiO 2 regardless of capping, proving that magnetism is intrinsic to infinite-layer nickelates and appears in a significant fraction of their phase diagram. In parent and superconducting Nd 1-x Sr x ⁢NiO 2 , the spin excitations are slightly hardened in capped samples compared to the noncapped ones. Additionally, a weaker Ni-Nd charge transfer peak at ~0.6 eV suggests that the hybridization between Ni 3⁢d and Nd 5⁢d orbitals is reduced in capped samples. In conclusion, from our data, capping induces only minimal differences in Nd 1-x Sr x NiO 2 and we phenomenologically discuss these differences based on the reconstruction of the SrTiO 3 -NdNiO 2 interface and other mechanisms such as crystalline disorder.
