ThermalTracker offshore validation
The SUMR-D CART2 turbine data are recorded by the CART2 wind turbine's supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system for the Advanced Research Projects Agency–Energy (ARPA-E) SUMR-D project located at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) Flatirons Campus. For the project, the CART2 wind turbine was outfitted with a highly flexible rotor specifically designed and constructed for the project. More details about the project can be found here: https://sumrwind.com/. The data contain video data of the wind turbine blades during operation as well as while parked. Since the blades had a coning angle, the blades are only in frame of the video camera when the blades are in a pitched to run configuration.

AWAKEN site B - NREL thermodynamic profiler (Assist II-11) Summary Data
The goals of the Lake Michigan Wind Assessment Project were to estimate the offshore wind energy potential and test the effectiveness of the laser wind sensor (LWS) unit.
This dataset contains vertical profiling lidar data from AWAKEN site A1. This is the ZX300 unit #1381 lidar system. The .csv files are monthly data files with 10-min average data. The .zip files are daily high frequency data and zipped by month.
This dataset contains vertical profiling lidar data from the SGP ARM E36 site. This is the ZephIR-300 unit #345 lidar system. CLAMPS was also deployed at this site for some of AWAKEN during IOPs. This is an upwind AWAKEN site.
