Erratum: Review—Materials Science Predictions of Thermal Runaway in Layered Metal-Oxide Cathodes: A Review of Thermodynamics [ J. Electrochem. Soc. , 167, 090543 (2020)]

It was found that corrections are required for the published article cited in the title of this document. A revised Table VII is shown below, in which the values for S (entropy of the liquid solvents) have been corrected for consistency with the original sources. No corrections were required for the enthalpies, but they are included for completeness. The cited references and table footnotes found in the originally published version of Table VII remain applicable.

stovertillage2019-bc1040-060

As part of the Billion Ton resource assessment projections created in 2016 (see https://www.energy.gov/sites/prod/files/2016/12/f34/2016_billion_ton_rep...), this dataset was produced and titled a "base-case" scenario. This broader dataset provided an updated assessment of the potential economic availability of biomass resources from agricultural lands reported at the farmgate under conservative assumptions. Crop residues quantified in this dataset include corn stover, cereal (wheat, oats, and barley) straws, and sorghum stubble. We have isolated corn stover in this dataset. What is the purpose of the data set? Why were the data collected?* Per request for use in subsequent research, we have isolated corn stover in 2019 from the broader base-case projections and have provided tillage classification details from this projection. Tillage classification assumptions in this scenario allow a moderate deviation from a baseline situation (using historic CTIC data on tillage type used in counties for each crop). This dataset allowed moderate flexibility of farmers to put land into another tillage type (no till, conservation till, and reduced till) where a higher net present value was calculated.

Supplemental material for paper "Radiosonde-to-Space (R2S) atmospheric specifications: Bridging observations and models for infrasound propagation"

This document describes the supplemental materials for the paper: TITLE: "Radiosonde-to-Space (R2S) atmospheric specifications: Bridging observations and models for infrasound propagation" DOI: xxxxxxxxxxx JOURNAL: TBD Written by Loring Schaible, September 17, 2025 This folder contains eight subfolders, each for a specific date and UTC time (in format YYYY-MM-DD_HH). All eight of these dates are exemplified and described in the manuscript. Within each folder is six documents. As an example, consider the folder "2022-12-31_00". The six files are comprised of: - Two text files (extension .txt) that describe the atmospheric specifications of Albuquerque, NM. One is the G2S model, the other is the R2S model. "G2S_2022-12-31_00.txt" "R2S_2022-12-31_00.txt" - Two text files (extension .dat) that contain the ground arrivals predicted by infraGA using the parameters described in the manuscript. One each for the two atmospheric specification models above, G2S and R2S. "G2S_2022-12-31_00.arrivals.dat" "R2S_2022-12-31_00.arrivals.dat" - Two image files (extension .png) that illustrate the predicted arrivals contained in the two files above. One image shows all arrivals as either black (G2S) or red (R2S). The other image shows the same but with arrivals common to both models in gray. "2022-12-31_00_Arrivals.png" "2022-12-31_00_DifArrivals.png"

TripleGraph

RDF triplestores are great tools for online graph analytic processing (i.e., graph pattern query processing), but they do not provide graph mining capabilities (e.g., PageRank, connected-component analysis, node eccentricity, etc.). The software title “TripleGraph” is a graph analysis toolkit, which uses an RDF triplestore as its backend for creating, manipulating, mining, and programming with large scale property graphs. It allows users to run various graph mining algorithms easily. User can import edgelist-formatted (homogeneous graph) or JSON-formatted graph (property graph) into the RDF triplestore using the provided tool and perform various analysis such as (1) Node/edge retrieval and manipulation, (2) Pathfinding between two given nodes, (3) Running graph mining algorithms (PageRank/Personalized PageRank, Single Source Shortest Path/Multi-Source Shortest Path, Connected Component, Node Eccentricity, Peer Pressure Clustering). It supports standard graph data format and works with a standard SPARQL endpoint like Jena Fuseki. It allows users to perform online graph analytic processing and graph mining on the same platform (a triplestore).

eBPF Community ID Calculation

The code titled “eBPF Community ID Calculation” allows easy correlation of monitoring logs with existing network forensics logs on high-performance computing (HPC) systems. This code implements the Community ID Flow Hashing standard to calculate community ID Flow identifiers. These identifiers will be used to correlate host forensics logs with network forensics logs. The correlation provides valuable insight and the ability to easily pivot between disparate data sources. The computer code removes the libpcap dependency from the code base.

Nuclear Canister Corrosion Detection

The software titled "nccd" is used for running residual neural networks (ResNets) on images of nuclear canisters. The software provides only the code for the implementation (based on the fastai library), but it does not share the image data. The compute code allows the use of residual nets (and more generally of other deep learning models) for classifying images from nuclear canisters as corroded. or intact. An image is considered to be corroded if it contains pitting or stress corrosion cracks. The code trains ResNets on image tiles extracted from original images from nuclear canisters, and then implements a classification rule, which can be applied to a validation set to decide if each original image is corroded or intact. The software automates the process of using images taken from nuclear canisters to detect corrosion. It provides also scope for future research directions on the basis of the existing research and code.

CE ABM (Circular Economy Agent-Based Model) [SWR 20-113]

The CE ABM framework aims to evaluate the techno-economic, market, and social conditions that maximize the value retention and minimize raw material inputs of different circular economy (CE) strategies. Several types of agents are defined in the model, such as asset owners, service providers, recyclers, and manufacturers and modeled CE strategies are design-for-circularity, products and components reuse, and recycling. In addition to techno-economic relations, the CE ABM framework accounts for behavioral factors such as social norms and trust. (Title previously known as "ABSiCE (Agent-Based Simulations of the Circular Economy)". Updated Oct 27, 2023)

Hydra Network Automatic Configuration (Hydra Autoconfig) v1

Hydra Autoconfig is an algorithm and software program to automatically configure a resilient network of independent ASICs that are capable of being connected as a Hydra network. The Hydra network itself is described in an invention disclosure titled: "Ad-Hoc Networks of Readout ASICs for Reliable Detector Instrumentation" (2020-091). The Hydra Autoconfig software works by first configuring a Hydra node. Then it recursively builds a Hydra network by attempting to link to each available upstream node in succession, keeping links that are verified. It then repeats on each newly generated node until no possible links remain. Once it is so configured, a reliable Hydra network of ASICs remains that can be reconfigured later to respond to damage or malfunction of one or more of the constituent ASICs.
