A bibliography on hydrogen as an energy source is presented. Approximately 8,000 documents are abstracted covering the period 1953 through 1973. Topics covered include: production, utilization, transmission, distribution, storage, and safety.
Statistics on rainfall rates near and above the earth's surface are needed in order to estimate the percentage of time of absorption, or scattering of radio waves that affect radio system design and electrospace management. The most useful averaging time for computing such rates is on the order of 1 min or less. This paper extrapolates excessive short-duration precipitation data to provide such statistics from data routinely reported by the National Weather Service. For the 8766 h in an average year, and for a median or random location in any part of the world, the model described here estimates the fraction of time during which t-minute average rainfall rates exceed any given value.
A component is assumed to be subjected to a sequence of several groups of sinusoidal stresses. Each group consists of a specific number of cycles having the same maximum alternating stress level and the same mean stress level, the maximum alternating stress level being different from group to group. A method for predicting the reliability of components subjected to such loads is proposed, given their distributional alternating stress versus cycles-to-failure (S-N) diagram. It is called the 'conditional reliability-equivalent life' method. It is applied to four-cases using distributional fatigue data generated in the Reliability Research Laboratory of The University of Arizona, and the predicted reliabilities are compared and discussed.
The catalog includes data pertaining to imagery acquired by LANDSAT 1 from July 23, 1974 through July 23, 1975. Two listings of imagery are included: (1) an observation identification listing, and (2) a listing based on geographic location (coordinate listing). World maps of satellite coverage are given.

Bibliography, up to 1974 inclusive, of articles and books on utilization of wind power in energy generation. Worldwide literature is surveyed, and short abstracts are provided in many cases. The citations are grouped by subject: (1) general; (2) utilization; (3) wind power plants; (4) wind power generators (rural, synchronous, remote station); (5) wind machines (motors, pumps, turbines, windmills, home-built); (6) wind data and properties; (7) energy storage; and (8) related topics (control and regulation devices, wind measuring devices, blade design and rotors, wind tunnel simulation, aerodynamics). Gross-referencing is aided by indexes of authors, corporate sources, titles, and keywords.
Information regarding the availability of LANDSAT imagery processed and input to the data files by the NASA Data Processing Facility is published on a monthly basis. The U.S. Standard Catalog includes imagery covering the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii. The Non-U.S. Standard Catalog identifies all the remaining coverage. Sections 1 and 2 describe the contents and format for the catalogs and the associated microfilm. Section 3 provides a cross-reference defining the beginning and ending dates for LANDSAT cycles.
The Non-U.S. Standard Catalog lists imagery acquired by LANDSAT 1 and LANDSAT 2 which has been processed and input to the data files during the referred month. Data, such as data acquired, cloud cover and image quality are given for each scene. The microfilm roll and frame on which the scene may be found is also given.

An instrumental neutron activation analysis of element abundances in whole rock and plagioclase separates of the Serra de Mage chondrite has been conducted; plagioclase data and plagioclase mineral/liquid partition coefficients are employed to determine the REE abundances in the derivative equilibrium magmas from which Serra de Mage and Moore County chondrite plagioclases crystallized. No simple genetic relationship between the two chondrites appears likely through the route of fractional crystallization. A difference in degrees of partial melting of a similar source material (different from the source proposed for noncumulate eucrites) could be invoked to relate the two chondrites.
