ILC: Beyond Higgs Factory
Abstract
The first stage of the International Linear Collider is one of the contenders for a “Higgs factory”, as prioritised by the recent update of the European Strategy for Particle Physics. This article highlights the physics opportunities beyond its Higgs factory program, which is enabled by high luminosity, the polarised beams and the triggerless operation of the detectors, as well as the energy-extendability of the accelerator as key features of Linear Colliders.
