Materials Data on Cs3Ac by Materials Project
Abstract
Cs3Ac is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Cs is bonded to eight equivalent Cs and four equivalent Ac atoms to form CsCs8Ac4 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent CsCs8Ac4 cuboctahedra, edges with eight equivalent AcCs12 cuboctahedra, edges with sixteen equivalent CsCs8Ac4 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent AcCs12 cuboctahedra, and faces with fourteen equivalent CsCs8Ac4 cuboctahedra. All Cs–Cs bond lengths are 4.92 Å. All Cs–Ac bond lengths are 4.92 Å. Ac is bonded to twelve equivalent Cs atoms to form AcCs12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent AcCs12 cuboctahedra, edges with twenty-four equivalent CsCs8Ac4 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent AcCs12 cuboctahedra, and faces with twelve equivalent CsCs8Ac4 cuboctahedra.
