Materials Data on CsAc3 by Materials Project
Abstract
CsAc3 is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Cs is bonded to twelve equivalent Ac atoms to form CsAc12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent CsAc12 cuboctahedra, edges with twenty-four equivalent AcCs4Ac8 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent CsAc12 cuboctahedra, and faces with twelve equivalent AcCs4Ac8 cuboctahedra. All Cs–Ac bond lengths are 4.10 Å. Ac is bonded to four equivalent Cs and eight equivalent Ac atoms to form AcCs4Ac8 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent AcCs4Ac8 cuboctahedra, edges with eight equivalent CsAc12 cuboctahedra, edges with sixteen equivalent AcCs4Ac8 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent CsAc12 cuboctahedra, and faces with fourteen equivalent AcCs4Ac8 cuboctahedra. All Ac–Ac bond lengths are 4.10 Å.
