α-Weighted Transition Rate Matrix Method
Abstract
A more direct approach in calculating the Transition Rate Matrix Method operators and the significance of this method are presented. Consequences of using α-spectrum as the Transition Rate Matrix Method weighting function instead of the κ-spectrum are investigated. A prompt supercritical infinite medium multigroup system is considered. Results on continuous problem using OpenMC will be provided in the full paper.
