Peak Reliability Synchrophasor Program

Abstract

Realizing the potential of high fidelity, time-synchronized, power system data will build on the existing infrastructure made available by the Western Interconnection Synchrophasor Program (WISP). This project will focus on fully utilizing the data made available by this infrastructure to ensure reliable and efficient operation of the Western Interconnection. The Recipient's objective is to advance the deployment of production-grade software applications that rely on synchrophasor data to enhance the reliability or improve the economic efficiency of bulk power system planning and operations.
